Trump's presidency has caused many Democrats, especially the hyper-partisan ones, to lose their minds. All they've been talking about for over three years now is Russia, Russia, Russia. It's a nonstop, 24/7 obsession. And literally EVERY time these partisan Democrats encounter someone they disagree with, they accuse that person of being a Russian "puppet" or "stooge" despite having zero proof in support of their unhinged allegations.

Nobody is immune to this kind of treatment either. Insurgent movements from within the Democratic party (or the left in general) are smeared with similar attacks by the partisan Democrat establishment. Their appalling treatment of Tulsi Gabbard is the perfect example of this.

Despite checking virtually every identity politics box (female, person of color, religious minority, veteran) and espousing a very sensible and balanced version of liberalism, Tulsi has been subjected to nonstop scorn and false accusations by the pro-war and pro-corporate Democrats since she arrived on the "national" scene.

These establishment shills and dupes are ALL OVER their corporate and social media outlets accusing Tulsi of being some kind of Russian asset. This is the level of insanity that we've reached, where large numbers of people feel comfortable accusing an Army officer and war veteran like Tulsi Gabbard of serving a foreign power.

No doubt, many of the people attacking Tulsi's loyalty and patriotism made sure to stay as far away from military service as possible. Yes, it's very easy to be patriotic from behind your computer screen while you Tweet endlessly about your Russian "interference" religion.

The Trump party base will be traumatized by the aftermath of the Trump presidency once they realize the damage he has caused to our country.

Not unlike the eight years of, "Obama is a secret Muslim terrorist born in Africa," crap the Republicans posted every ten seconds.

I like Tulsi. I'm not quite sure she has enough experience to be President yet, but there is promise there.

Way to completely avoid the point and revert to anti-Trump religion, thus proving my point.

Nah, he just reinforces our expectations of the thinking ability of the deplorables who elected him.

If your point is that any President has to have thick enough skin to take constant criticism, then you are right.

C'mon. You know there's no comparison. The "birthers" were fringe kooks*, and they kept their kookery off the streets.

The right didn't put on birther muslim pu55y hats, throw mass public temper tantrums, and scream UNPEACH like howler monkeys for years on end.

*- Yes, I realize that Trump was one of them.

Inane theories about Obama's birth weren't given their own special prosecutor.

One of the most important functions of the presidency is to serve as the commander-in-chief, so, in that regard, Tulsi is more experienced than almost everyone else running, Republican or Democrat.

For a long time, being a veteran was considered an unspoken requirement to become president. Eisenhower, JFK, Reagan, all veterans. But Since Clinton, the emphasis on prior military service has essentially vanished. Yet it makes perfect sense that prior military service would better prepare someone for the presidency than people without service.

I think I made my points rather clear in the opening post. And I am not surprised that some people will want to avoid discussing my points.

What the tea party never did was to use the power of government to open up a massive investigation into Obama's birth or personal history.

Oh boy... can you imagine the utter indignation from Democrats if Republicans somehow managed to appoint a special prosecutor for the purposes of investigating Obama's personal history? Democrats would have been rioting in the streets and shouting COUP from the top of their lungs.

If Biden were to win the nomination, which I doubt he will. I think Tulsi would be ideal choice of VP for the old man. Usually being more of a numbers guy, I would advocate the VP choice to someone from a swing state that could help the ticket win that state. Biden's age is a factor whether one wants to admit it or not. Personally I would prefer a fresh young face as the Democratic nominee. But if old and tired were to win, Tulsi would be ideal.

Another up and comer is Tammy Duckworth, keep an eye on her.

Some people were traumatized that we could possibly elect such an incompetent. Now they are just energized in the effort to correct that mistake.

Although, I am not a Democrat, I can sympathize with them because I feel the same way.

It is difficult for Democrats to believe that Americans voted for someone as stupid as Trump.

Donald Trump DID hire a investigators to try and prove Obama was illegal - and you guys voted him as President. So I'm not going to buy your holier-than-thou claims.

And they've allowed that trauma to blind them. All they do is shout "RUSSIA" nonstop at everyone who disagrees with them, even people on the left.

With his own money, as a private citizen.

WTF are you talking about right now? Do you even know?

    Do you think I care?
