NO president has control over this not Jesus Christ himself, however the democrats dragging their ass to ensure the economy implodes will only ensure one thing and that is that every one who destroys peoples lives for political gain, I surely hope they rot in hell! Worst part? If they were as confident in Biden as they proclaim, they could easily pass this emergency bill and know that in a few months when Trump loses, they'll have a President Biden to willfully obey and pass even the farthest of Left edicts in government.

But clearly they're not that confident, so they hope to turn this on Trump and Republicans, but that dog won't hunt for one obvious reason: People are hurting NOW. The particulars? They don't care much. They just want this relief bill(and that's what it is, a RELIEF bill), no matter what form it takes.

Where's the lie? The President didn't willingly(or otherwise) bring coronavirus into the US. He adapted the countermeasures the 'experts' wanted him to(and therefore as I contested before, he's President in name only at this point. That's why Mike Pence was head of the 'task force'). The President endorsed trillion dollars stimulus, try thinking you'd get ANYTHING like that prior to the crisis.

Another one of your big problems, and Obama himself would say it: "Perfect is the enemy of good." Is it a perfect bill? No. Is it a good bill? Yeah. Is it necessary? Absolutely.

So stop playing politics with this, and pass the damn ****.

It isn’t a good bill. Remove the secrecy clause and the Republican slush fund and I would agree it is an ok bill — acceptable but not good even then. As it stands now — no.
