This is why partisan Democrats are so obsessed with Russiagate. Because there is no opposition party in the United States. When Democrats resist Trump, they attack him from the Right. Partisans don't focus on the US-Saudi war in Yemen because the corporate Democrats support it, including the Obama administration.
    Tulsi Gabbard is a unicorn.

We have no national security threat in Yemen. It doesn't matter.

Democrats said the same thing about Southeast Asia in the 1960's and 70's. It had no impact on our national security, so eventually we pulled out. Millions died because we left, but who cares? It wasn't in our national interest to be there.

Hell, millions died because we were there, with many more born with birth defects for years after due to Agent Orange.

Meanwhile House Democrats are investigating why Dirty Donald is peddling nuclear technology to the Saudi homicidal killer dictator.

Proxy war. At the time, the US had every business being there, according to their leadership of the free world doctrine and all.

But Yemen was President Obama's biggest success as President.

Conservatives thought fighting for freedom was worthwhile. We didn't think the Vietnamese should be annexed by China. But we were wrong. Freedom isn't worth fighting for. That's just a bunch of jingoistic propaganda.

And when we left in 1975, millions were butchered. But hey, it wasn't us!

Quagmires have a way of being extremely costly giant clustermucks.

It also is an object lesson that thinking in binary partisan terms tends to exclude big chunks of cold hard reality.
