Trying to out do each other the democrat candidates have gone clear off the edge trying to buy votes with taxpayer money.

But the strangest thing of all, the better the country does thanks to President Trump, the more angry and deranged democrats get.

Can any democrat on the forum explain this? Why don't you want to make the country better?

Each side always claims the other side doesn't want to make the country better, which is utter nonsense. Just because one side has different ideas doesn't mean they don't want to make the country better. It's that each side has different ideas about what would make the country better. The Right thinks their ideas are best, just as the Left thinks their ideas are best. It's that simple.

And you think money alone makes this nation great?

If a group professes to want to make America better and then proposes ideas that prima facie and clearly would make America worse, what are they????

Depends on the idea. Not every idea works perfectly. Some ideas are better than others. Just because an idea doesn’t work it doesn’t mean it wasn’t well intentioned.

OK, but what do you call a person who is well-intentioned but proposes only disastrous results? a helpful person or a destructive person?

Some areas of the economy are not doing better, for example:The National debt has increased more in the First two years of President Trumps administration than it did in the first two years of the Obama Presidency. It is now at an all time high. Much of this is due to the tax cuts and increased spending. Surely this must bother you as I remember you were concerned about the debt under Obama. Not only is the present administration spending taxpayers money at an all time high, it is borrowing money at an increasing rate to do so. I do wish to make the country better, why have you changed your mind about debt?
    Can you explain this?

The premise here is that EITHER side has a “right” way. Given the ever increasing debt, and the fact that BOTH sides vote to increase the debt, there is evidence that BOTH sides may have flawed agendas. This idea that roses grow out of the butts of Republicans or Democrats is ludicrous.

Trump is president large because while the neocons and Democrats were arguing over who could best manage America's decline. Trump was saying we didn't have to decline and shouldn't.

Find me a president since WWII who didn't add more to the debt in his first two years than his predecessor

Don't try to misshape my argument the point is that Trump added more to the debt than Obama.

For the first time in 12 years the yield curve on bonds has become inverted. This is almost always a sign of a coming recession. If the economy is doing so well why is this happening?
    Care to explain?

Your first mistake is trying to understand liberal logic. They have none!
Actual news anchors on msnbc and CNN are admitting to hoping there is a recession so trump looks bad
These fools are actually wishing for people to suffer financial turmoil just because of their personal feelings about Trump
Not cool at all..don't waste your time with these people!

My point that such circumstances have been the norm for nearly 3/4 if a century. Acting like it means more now than it did any other time in the last seventy five years is just silly.

The President promised to eliminate the deficit in 10 years. The last budget coming out of the Senate will add 1.5 trillion to the deficit over the next 8 years. My real point is that something that is so silly now was criticized soundly during the last administration. If it was serious then it is serious now if it is silly now it was silly then, but it can't be serious then and silly now.
