    Democrats have used blacks just as one uses toilet paper. When it has served its purpose, it is flushed down the toilet.

    So sad the position that blacks are in. So sad that the black leadership in this country has led their constituency into a position where they have no where to go and can be used in such a manner by the liberal elite.

    Very, very sad.

    Slavery's not so bad. Just ask Bill O'reilly.

    Black Americans used to be predominantly Republican but as the Republican party became more and more a White Nationalist party they move to further their interests instead of yours.

    I'm sorry, but I am black. The fact of the matter is that none other than Bill Clinton, due to political calculations, moved the Democratic party to the right in terms of policy that has negatively impacted blacks. You are wrong. Blacks have not moved further to their interests by embracing the Democratic party.

    That's still marginally better than using them for target practice as the cons like to do.

    It is sad, but I don't really see it as fixable. Like it or not, it makes some sense for blacks to block vote like they do, since it does give them some power within the Democratic Party. Due to black primary votes, Hillary is the Democratic nominee. So blacks, due to block voting, basically have a veto on the Democratic nominee.

    Besides, it's not like they have any choice. Trumps running on a trade/immigration restriction platform, which black people have determined is not in their interest, so the alternative to stop it is to vote Democrat.

    Why would you be sorry for being Black? Seems to explain much about you but, in response:

    Bill Clinton and Barack Obama are moderates. They ran as moderates and governed as moderates. When they ran they faced stiff competition from their left and won because the Democratic party is mostly moderate.

    Of course
    eliminating the voting rights act;
    eliminating the civil rights act;
    eliminating affirmative action;
    eliminating the minimum wage;
    eliminating social security; and
    eliminating medicare and medicaid

    All serve the interests of African Americans so you should vote Republican. Fortunately, 90+% of African Americans disagree with you and THEY happen to be right.

    You have got a point there. That's why the so called "conservatives" should stop doing that.

    Good point!!!

    How is restricting immigration not good for Black Americans?

    I'm going to give you a real world scenario:
    A white guy,a black guy,and a Cuban guy are on a subcontracting work crew.
    The owner of the company gets underbid and loses contracts 8 times to a fat white guy that runs a crew of 6 illegal Mexicans that he underpays.
    Restricting illegal immigration is good.Illegals directly take food off the table of American families.

    I see what you are saying Mike, but the thing is this, blacks, as a class would have benefited much more from Sanders than Hillary. I haven't really researched it, but I think it is fair to say that Hillary would have lost to Sanders if it were not for the fact that blacks overwhelmingly supported her. Those leaked emails demonstrated that the DNC leadership simply did not want Sanders to win and went out of their way to prevent him from doing so. To me that demonstrates that the Democratic leadership really isn't concerned with the interests of blacks, but rather simply want to use them as toilet paper. They serve a purpose, and when that purpose is finished they are discarded.

    I'm sorry again, but you misunderstood me. I didn't mean that I was sorry for being black.

    I doesn't explain anything. But it does demonstrate, at the very least, a lack of comprehension on your part. Who knows, it may have been a deliberate distortion. I'm not going to dwell on it tho and let it slide.

    Bill Clinton perceived that he was in political trouble. He dropped the beautiful, intelligent, well qualified Lani Guinier like a hot potato instead of fighting for her. He enthusiastically embraced welfare reform, which would have been ok if it had been accompanied by a VIGOROUS job training and creation program. He enthusiastically embraced policy that has resulted in a significant increase in the incarceration rate of blacks for non violent offenses. By these things, Clinton demonstrated that blacks are merely pieces of toilet paper to be used for its purpose and then flushed down the toilet afterwards. It is so sad to see blacks embrace these people so warmly and get so little in return.

    And why are blacks overwhelmingly supporting Clinton instead of Sanders? What did I missed here?

    Blacks are worse off under Obama. And Clinton was against the measures that the republican congress put forth that helped blacks out.

    Who in the GOP has ever put this forward? Especially when it was the GOP that got it passed in the first place.
    Same question as before.
    And, lets think about this, who should get a position in a company, the person who is deserving of it, or the person who gets it so the company can meet a quota? Or, who gets into college, the kids who deserve it or the kids who get a 10 point boost based on their skin color but aren't actually prepared to go to college?
    Minimum wage was actually a democrat thing to stifle black workers who were undercutting white workers in how much salary they would take. Kind of like how illegals do it now.
    Well, the GOP want to make it privatized and an opt in type deal.
    Same as before.
    They've been fed propaganda and have been lofo voters led by crooked black leaders who profit heavily off the plight of impoverish, victimhood blacks.

    I admit I don't get it, but I'm not black, so I don't really feel I have much of a right to speak for what they think is in their best interest. I'm just going by how they vote, and if they think open borders and trade agreements that take jobs is in their best interest, then it's probably a waste of time trying to argue otherwise.

    My impression, anecdotally from black people I've known personally, is that they are in general conservative-with a small c. Sanders is a pretty big change from the status quo, Hillary is basically a continuation of Obama. So why not continue the Obama legacy? Although it's true that Sanders was offering the most free stuff, he also seemed like he had the least ability to actually deliver it. Hillary knows where the bodies are buried and could probably get some free stuff out of Congress.

    In any case, Hillary was the black candidate this year. That's who they voted for.

    Hillary Clinton has a proven track record of fail with regards to getting things done with Congress. One only need to look to her attempts at healthcare reform when she was first lady for evidence of this. We can only expect more of the same with a Republican controlled congress. Sanders at least would pay better lip service and send a message that voters are sick of the same old Clinton crap.

    You might be surprised how many blacks support Trumps immigration policy. They support it in silence because supporting it vocally can bring on ridicule and even danger like that black man that was shot in the leg for his support for Trump.

    Look, I don't get it, but voting these days is more about identity than policy for Democratic voters, so Hillary=Obama legacy, and Sanders...whut?

    It indeed would be sad if it was true. If you want to convince me thatvwhat you say us true then list out examples of exactly what you mean by used like toilet paper.

    If you don,t want yo or cannot then Ibwillntake it that you are just farting in the partisan political Sind.

    Always funny to see our conservative friends feigning this faux concern for the welfare of blacks.

    Eh we'll see. I do think that Trump probably has the best chance to increase GOP share of the Black vote because of policies like that, but I think the percentage of the population that actually votes on policy is probably pretty small, so Trump might get an uptick in the black vote, but it won't be huge.

    Anyway, we'll find out on election day.

    Cause she said she is carrying "hot sauce" in her purse and that was the most important thing she has.

    Funny, under Obama, blacks are worse off than before. Great legacy to keep going on with.
