Don't think the Hunter story is going anywhere - but I do think the idea that Biden will not make it through the term has merit .. although I do not think he will resign before inauguration.

Kamala may well be the first Female President - wonder what the odds-makers are giving for this outcome ?

Sure - there is definitely some there there - and is one possibility. I think even without that however - Biden may not have the mental capacity - and I am not trying to be funny. He seems to have symptoms of dimentia - and I don't think this is some secret .. at least early signs - and that may be how we get the first Female President.

Either way the next 4 years is going to be a disaster - and it didn't matter who got in for that to be true. Covid will leave us - and who knows how long that will take yet .. I am predicting should be the peak right now and we will hang here for a bit - then see declining case rates .. simply because we have hit the 20% threshold - which should happen in less than a couple of months at current infestation rates.

Each year 5-20 get what ever flue is going around - 20% is the high end - covid was a bad flue - but at that point it should be done or nearing the end.

Then the economic Tsunami will hit - and that is going to be ugly - albeit softened by money continuing to fall from the tree.
By the time the new president pokes head up above water to survey the land - so bogged down in continuous crisis mode - 2 years will have passed .. leaving little time to accomplish any other objectives - and even then - who knows what the post covid world is going to look like - and how the Global Economy will recover - and more importantly - what our slice of the pie will be .. our perhaps better put .. how much of the slice of the pie we used to have - will we have left . and what are our prospects going forward.

 

Yes, it does sound like a conpiracy theory. Reflect on why you believe it. You thought up a narrative that fits what you know, and what you believe. But there are many potential explanations for each of those facts, and some of your beliefs may be mistaken.

Consider your statement. "The Democratic Party knew...". Individual Democratic voters cast the votes that made Biden the nominee, not some cabal. I was one of them, and it's true that I believed Biden the most electable Democrat. There's no evidence of a "deal" with Bernie, and none would be needed if there were enough voters who felt as I did.

Bear in mind that Republicans contributed to our calculus, by railing against the "Socialist", Bernie. This emphasized the need to nominate someone who is moderate.
