Democrats have made it clear that they will make the midterms entirely a referendum on Donald Trump — at least until now. To the extent that they’ve discussed policy at all, it’s only to shriek at the news that taxpayers not only get to keep more of their own money through tax cuts, but that employers have been sharing the wealth by raising wages and paying unscheduled bonuses. Party leaders like Nancy Pelosi and Elizabeth Warren dismiss these as “crumbs” while highlighting Trump’s character issues as their path back to a majority.

Now one key Democratic super-PAC is hitting the alarm over this strategy, McClatchy reports. Private polling by Priorities USA shows that not only is the full offensive on Trump not working, it’s about to lose them an election that they thought was all but certain:

Can Democrats finally focus on something besides their butthurt over losing the election? I doubt it... especially at this late hour.

Theres a casper milktoast looking guy (D) from Texas running ads for a seat in DC. His only agenda? Hating on Donald Trump.

Maybe its time to admit Trumps economic policies are working... and folks are happy to have more $$ in their pockets, whether they like Trump or not.

Or pout in the corner for the next 7 years.

 

I have not been bragging about it, but I have noticed in some polls, Trump is over 50 percent favorable now. Newsmax conducts polls and Trump is doing very well.

 

They will continue on their path and continue being defeated until it gets so bad that they are forced to change their tactics.

I have no idea what they have in mind for a platform going forward, they never even address that and that will not win you the majority.

As of now, they seem like a pack of lemmings determined to jump off the cliff.

 

They wish they could but they can't. As it turned out, transgender bathrooms and putting miners out of business don't resonate with voters even remotely as well as the libs expected. Trump has captured pro-America business and economic agenda supported by the people so they can't run on economy either.

They don't run on a single "we hate Trump" issue because they want to, they run on it because they don't have other issues to run on, Trump is already implementing all they can possibly offer.

 

There sole platform is no to Trump. But when he wins, we all win and we will elect him the next time he runs.

 

My wish for 2018 is that we republicans would quit calling them liberals. They are not liberals. Liberals do not sack this nation passing tons of laws. Laws are not advice. They can put you in prison. So while Democrat cackle over prisons, they create more and more laws. I am not fooled. They are not liberal. not one bit liberal.

This kid who's running for Congress in Texas could be the Dems new pajamaboy. His ad even includes his daddy. They desperately need new blood, but the jump from age 75 to 25 is a little drastic. Makes me wonder if 'youth' will be their secret weapon this fall. They used up black and woman didnt work, so...

Their current platform is "non-US citizens > US citizens".

 

Dems are counting on the votes of millions of Trump haters to take control of Congress so they can impeach Trump. Its like their wet dream.

While that is the looming spectre...more importantly people are beginning to realize that Trump is doing whatever Congress tells him to do.

So unless we want to become slaves to the agenda of a small right wing GOP caucus....we had BETTER take back the House...and the Senate.

They shut down the government over demanding amnesty for illegal alien DACA dreamers and continue to put non citizens above American citizens.

 

I think the public is starting to ignore the tweets. "Tweets" are not much of a campaign issue. What are the Dems going to campaign for? Repeal the tax cuts?

 

Maxed? Hardly. Trump just pissed off every voter who fought for a balanced budget with his record setting, budget busting proposals. Dude spends like a drunken sailor, and his multiple bankruptcies prove he has no concept of long term fiscal control.

 

If you are an idiot. His budget has steep cuts but no it's not balance.
