Denver transit cop murdered by man on watch list

I'm going to guess this guy from Texas mistook this transit cop for a Denver police officer.

If and when he goes on trial it should come out, He may not be tried anyway - I reckon he's a nutter. Note I have no evidence on that, just a feeling so I'm not making it a claim.

 

And this is why I hate the Watch List: It's so utterly ineffective that these people can commit crimes anyway, and basically spread their terrorist propaganda unimpeded. Why do we EVEN have the Watch List, if we're not going to use it? Seriously, can any Democrat answer that question for me?

 

I'm not a Democrat, but one answer to your question is: because the NRA thinks that people on the Watch List should be entitled to buy guns without restriction.

 

And one bill on the floor of the Senate that would have appropriated short-term controls was blocked by the Democrats(actually, more like 'sat down on' if you remember the story), because it didn't go far enough!

The one time Republicans rebuked the NRA, and Democrats failed to follow through. For shame.

 

Well as long as crazy people can get guns until they are crazy enough to use them at which point the right magically moves them from the "responsible" to the "irresponsible" category, things like this are going to happen. Mental health screenings should be a requirement for gun ownership. Most bat (*)(*)(*)(*) crazy people ooze it like this guy did on twitter so it doesn't take much.

Cummings is a nutcase, likely took to Islam as an act of revenge for having a bad time in the US Army. He tried to start up his own martial arts studio in Texas, but began to preach too much Islam in the process. He was out to kill any cop, but he singled-out a Christian in a probable hate crime against Christians.

 

Has any of you seen photos of the Arab men praying alongside the Arab women?

 

Too bad we can't ban crazy religions like Islam like we did with crazy Native American rituals like the Sun Dance.



Having hooks in your flesh for a few hours than can heal is far superior to a lifetime of suffering under Islam.

Okay, rebuke is too strong a word, but Repubs were willing to compromise on the Democratic proposal and their response was to sit and pout with a bunch of pacifers in their mouth.

I have yet to read any Democrat mention that the Arab women never pray in the room with the Arab men. Those that are Muslims of course. Christian women pray alongside Christian men.
