DeSantis says he might send any Haitian immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard

I do not understand the MAGA obsession with Martha's Vineyard.

Is it jealousy? Is it because the small community is very wealthy and the stereotypical MAGA family is not?

Whatever it is, failed presidential candidate Ron DeSantis implies he is going old school MAGA (circa 2022) with his veiled threat to send Haitian immigrants to Martha's Vineyard, something that as of governor he does not seem to have the legal authority to do.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) said he may send Haitian migrants who land in his state to Martha’s Vineyard, Mass.

“We do have our transport program also that’s going to be operational. So, Haitians land in the Florida Keys, their next stop very well may be Martha’s Vineyard,” he said in an interview Tuesday with podcast host Dana Loesch.
