Oh... sorry, I thought you were suggesting it was ok, because of (your story you linked).

I agree, retaliation against innocents does seem to be status quo.... (the white trucker beaten with a brick after Rodney King as well as all the attacks on whites ending with "justice for Trayvon" slogans)

My brother got stuffed in a trunk of a monte carlo and had his truck stolen back in 98 by two black guys. He doesn't go around blaming every random black guy, or retaliating against them, for something that someone else did. If he did, he'd be thrown into jail and deemed a racist, yet, it's written off as "retaliation" by blacks a lot of times.

Do I think THIS incident of beating a man that accidentally hit a black child a direct result of retaliation to your linked story? Probably not. I think it's more a "way of thinking" This group doesn't seem to need any specific incident to justify the attack. It wasn't like they were roaming the streets looking for a white guy.... the situation of hitting the kid happened, and they were mad, and feel "street justice" (aka - mob justice) was acceptable.

You dont know what they were thinking. we are all speculating.

Its likely that your brother, being white, would get away with any criminal activity in retaliation because of the racist judicial systems in america, sadly.

    good gosh... yeah... ok.

but I will agree with the speculation part. Seems more to me trying to justify a crime of opportunity with (fill in the blank) tragedy after the fact. Like a referree throwing a yellow flag, then looking for a penalty during the play to justify why he previously threw it.
