Roy is probably still claiming he didn't do it, there doesn't seem to be an Admission of guilt or a Photograph showing it...like there is with ole Al. Acting like an adult lol... Roy, point blank...should Al Franken step down? Your opinion is all I seek here.
One also represents felons, tweekers, molesters and the criminally insane. By your logic must a representative not have negative thoughts about them to lead a nation of which they are a cohort?
Those folk, once they serve their terms/sentence, have paid their debt to society per the law..........anyone running for a higher office should and will be held to a higher standard as the position commands power and great responsibility given by the people. You post is a pigeon hole nit pick that ignores everything else that has been previously posted in this thread. The standard of a moral compass should be an adherence goal.
The oath is to the Constitution and the ideals it represents. One can dislike religion but still remain faithful to the Constitution and the ideal that is the freedom to practice the religion of one's choice or none at all. What you are suggesting is a religious test, that's anathema to freedom of and from religion.
There are a few things I didn't want to admit while giving it more time, but A: Trump isn't qualified to be President(I knew this throughout the entirety of 2016, opposed him up until I had no choice and wanted to give him a chance. I didn't want to do what I did with Obama. At which point, my frustration with Obama's policies made me oppose everything. A bit irrational I admit.) B: He definitely has a perchance for some of the most corrupt people ever to be in the cabinet, this coming from the guy who wanted to drain the swamp. C: He's done himself no favors. 2020 will be a saving grace for us all, as we can start over. I still want a POTUS who can lead the necessary rebuilding for this country. While I'm still more confident that's on the right side of the aisle, I can vote for a Left politician that rejects identity politics and helps us heal.
It may not be the same Socioeconomics but everyone everywhere face Socioeconomics and how one deals with it is what sets them apart. So you are saying that blacks in the inner cities act the way they do because of their economics and their living conditions and this is what makes fathers run off and young joining gangs? You also think this should excuse and explain away their behaviors?
well i understand your position, but obviously times are changing. scandals are part and parcel with politics and always have been. now i cant disagree that no one is perfect, but people who seek political offices should know better. (h w bush is a surprise) that said, i will repeat my saying, never put anything on public display that is not legal nor proper, it will only bite you in the end. aka, caution is the better part of valor.
I would say they aren't but I think the more important point is how rather than complaining about Democrat "propaganda" you would be better to address the actual harm that Republicans have done over decades.
No. Before he was a Senator Franken was a comedian and the photo clearly shows that he was joking. A bad joke, but still a joke and (probably get drilled on this one) to be honest, how much of a "feel" can you get when a woman is wearing a flak jacket. The woman came forward and spoke about a problem in American society and if she doesn't want to press the issue....why do you? Franken is acting as an adult. They said there would be an investigation and he'll cooperate with it and let the cards fall where the do.
Now you're asking a different question but that is the conditions we're talking about. The Socio-economic situation that they live in and the fact that they are oppressed to stay there.
We need our cautionary tales. That's why I'm glad places like California, Baltimore and Chicago exist as a warning to the rest of the country.
White welfare bums do the same things blacks do and suffer the same consequences But for some reason blacks demand and get most of the attention
Good lord. So another case of the clothes are too thick to get a good feel...so it's ok. Like I've told at least 2 people of late....give that a shot at your office, and let me know how HR handles the "thick clothes defense". Just wow. What kind of investigation do we need here? That's an excuse. We see the picture. Will an "investigation" really change anything in regards to that? No matter what an investigation finds, unless it's that someone photo shopped that pic of course, will change what we see. When you add that pic to his radio statements that also made a "joke" about drugging a woman and then positioning her and taking pics....it's pretty obvious to anyone with any shred of decency that he should step down.
I'd like to know what the line is. Is it 1.25" of clothing that prevents the groping or do we have to go to 1.35" of clothing? Apparently rape is hilarious to the left.
I wish no one ill will But Blacks let themselves be taken advantage of by the race hustlers No one else can fight their battles for them Blacks have to take charge of their own lives
Indeed. The first thing people have to do is stop being African-American, Asian-American, Rigelian-American and just be Americans. If you see yourself asa victim, that's all you will ever be. There are enough people of all races and sexes in the highest positions, are in all professions, and are making large sums of money. If they can do it, so can you. The "you're a victim bull****" is all a lie to keep you poor and dependent on the government, and that's all it is.
Absolutely shameful the couple excuses I've been seeing on this one. From the clothes are so thick he couldn't really get a good feel, to trying to pretend the hands aren't really touching because there is some shadown underneath the fingers. Ummmm....unless you full palm you are going to absolutely have some shadow under the fingers. Why would anyone go to such lengths to defend this guy? Is Al Franken really that important??
So, who are you saying that Trump 'groped'...? Frankly, with a wife as beautiful as his wife is, I would imagine that he's quite happy at home....
