Oh well that’s easy, because I’ve learned well from the hard left.

I’ve learned that if you want to make a change or influence public policy, you have to be as loud and obnoxious as possible. Even a tiny minority, if they’re loud enough, can shape public opinion and in doing so public policy. You have to demonstrate and protest and publicly shame and dox those who hold opinions counter to yours.

I’ve learned that you have to label people, who in reality are somewhat moderate, as being part of the most extremist elements on the other side. You have to associate them with things like pedophiles and racists in order to drum up enough disgust from the ill-informed masses who don’t realize that what you’re saying is ridiculous hyperbole.

I’ve learned you have to use your mass-media allies to lie, misconstrue and misinform while retaining a seedling of truth so that you can continuously point back to that as your “truth”. I’ve learned that people who disagree with you are not to be placated by listening to their opinions, they are to be shunned and you are to get your friends and family and their friends and family along with the greater populous to attempt to shun them as well.

And almost the most important, I’ve learned that when all else fails you must turn to riotous violence to ensure your causes victory because as the left has made clear time and time again… the ends justifies the means. So whatever means is necessary in order to attain the desired outcome.

But above all, the left has taught me that you cannot simply live and let live. You must work to force your ideology on the rest of the populous.

Disney keeps pushing the envelope no matter the resistance nor the drop in their stock prices or the flops their recent movies have been. You can imagine the uproar if a different company openly marketed “straight pride” themed clothing.

 

You can make "straight pride" anything you want. It's a free country.

Trouble is that most people get that "gay pride" isn't inherently anti-straight but that pretty much anybody promoting "straight pride" is pretty much bound to be anti-gay.

What events or resources are you going to have on hand at a "straight pride" event that have everything to do with being straight positive and absolutely nothing to do with being anti-gay?

I suppose you could have a planned-parenthood booth offering contraception and maybe abortion service referrals in those states where that hasn't been banned completely?

How about safe houses for troubled straight teens whose families have rejected them once they've discovered they were heterosexual?

Gender affirming counseling for boys who want to play football and wear suits to work? Whatever next?

The list is potentially endless. What would you like to add to that?

Are gay people going to be welcomed at your "straight pride" event as straight people are at gay pride events?
