I recommend you also read Sandra Miller’s detailed complaint about her behavior in her blog of BadKyreneJudge. JOP Rogers still assigns all small business claims to hearing officers. Over the years as a business owner and plaintiff, I have filed a few small claims in different courts. I had to ask to be heard by her in 2010, not knowing of her bad reputation. She had not checked her docket and so tried to tell me I was in the wrong court. She had not read and was not aware of my paperwork that I had carefully and with substantial effort compiled and mailed to her for her preview. In a foul mood she proceeded with my case and eventually, and as I understand it now, not surprisingly, decided against my complaint. Her behavior was shockingly vindictive and petty; unlike anything I had experienced before. Something you would expect only of a spoilt teenager. She made practically no effort to understand the case or ask questions. She allowed my proceedings to be repeatedly interrupted by other cases and other business which, of course, was very distracting. I hope others who have experienced her bad behavior will take the time through this posting to express themselves. We need someone as JOP with more focus in doing what is right rather than getting what he or she wants (winning) at any cost. We need someone who understands that the personal end does not justify any means. It cannot be hard at all to find a better replacement. She has no business being a judge of any sort, in any capacity. Do NOT re-elect Kyrene Justice Elizabeth Rogers.
