    Some people only have the choice to DIE. Ask those in nations with UHC if they get that choice as much as our citizens do.

    Nothing would change the liberal media would complain every day about the president like they did with Bush.

    The GOP would get rid of Obamacare and work with the healthcare industry and insurance companies to come up with good regulations and solutions not a government take over like democrats want

    You don't seem to get that whether or not a person works has nothing to do with it. Rich people don't work, you still want them to have health care.

    Health care is a right, and societies with far less resources than ours have recognized it as such without falling apart. A society that doesn't take care of its people isn't going to survive, obviously.

    Thousands of Americans die each year, because they DO NOT have access to proper healthcare.

    It is more than the "poor" who need healthcare. Don't you realize that?!! :(

    Your lack of compassion and reasonable understanding is appalling to me. :(

    They darned sure DO!! I experience it myself, even on minor but necessary stuff. It's BS, the way they get around paying for stuff. They even frequently process what they SHOULD be paying very SLOWLY... and in ridiculously convoluted ways.

    Ask the seniors, prisoners, members of congress, veterans, etc if they wanna give up their "socialist" government healthcare. Most of the folks in those groups are pretty good with their government healthcare.

    Do you think that your insurance company will actually 'cover' you?! Are you certain?!

    Check what you think it true about that.

    Still, what about those who we pay for anyway? Those who go to the emergency room, or get more ill than they should because they weren't seen by a healthcare professional until their disease(s) became more advanced?

    Do you think this poorly patched system we are using here actually SAVES you money?!! LOL!! :)

    But then again, it is one reason I realize America needs UHC NOW!!

    Bottom line: We aren't doing any better here. Most people are only a single illness away from bankruptcy. It's a costly thing to put that on people.

    Or, we could let them die; remember the morphine OD is a comfortable and relatively cheap way to go.

    But I'm not a "Barbarian"... so, I'd suggest we go to UHC NOW!!

    I had major back surgery and the insurance company got the hospital bill cut in half that saved me lots of money

    We are paying for that. that is why you pay taxes. Watch how much your taxes increase under UHC. I do not want that i will buy my insurance and I will be in control of the price and deductions ETC...
