    let's hope not. all this electronic stuff is intended to see to it that you can't TEACH anyone to shoot with your guns, so that in a generation or two, nobody has one that they can actually FIRE.

    In the future, guns will read the genetic code of the user and turn off if the wrong person is holding it.

    No. And what Holder is doing now is the same as Yee was doing. Trying hard to look like he's in the control camp, and actually doing something to appease them because he's already in the very hot seat for his other harebrained conduct.
    I CAN imagine some kind of interface for infantry troops, where the guns are activated via radio signal or some such, since the troops already carry communications. That would make the guns useless to an enemy.
