The NFL has no choice but to force Daniel Snyder to sell the Washington team Donald Trump has always wanted to own an NFL team. It has been said that if he had been allowed to buy the Buffalo Bills a few years ago that he wouldn't have bothered to run for president. Now is a great opportunity. The scandal plagued Washington Redskins will probably be forced by the league to be sold to someone else. They need a new mascot as well but that will follow easily enough. President Donald Trump should buy the Redskins and resign from the presidency to run the team. Obviously he has the financial resources to do so and his interest in doing so has always been strong. And owning the Redskins (or Red Tails or Red Wolves) gives Trump a great opportunity to redeem his reputation among opinion makers in the nations capital. Start the team winning again and turning around the last 20 years of ineptitude would go a long way toward doing that. The country gets rid of the Donald Trump presidency. A win for the country and Republican Party. The Redskins (one of the leagues older franchises) get a chance for a truly fresh start. Everybody wins.
Need to stop with these idiotic references to President Trump supposed complexion. They are childish and grossly disrespectful in the extreme.
What makes you think the NFL owners would allow the Orange Menace to buy a team...........if he could afford it? I wouldn't want an adulterous business cheat who has declared bankruptcy 6 times owning a team if I were them.
With all the current sexual abuse allegations being made against the Redskins organization, it does sound like a place where Dirty Donald would fit right in.
You don't think it would be disrespectful for a President of the United States to resign, just so he can buy something he's always wanted? Does the presidency of the country mean so little to you?
I'm pretty sure that there are no allegations that Donald Trump has done any of those things or declared bankruptcy in the last several years.
Key word “allowed”. I suspect he was vetted or pulled his bid before it was vetted. If Cohen is correct it was likely a smoke and mirrors bid anyway (his specialty). Don, can’t do anything if scrutiny is involved so I highly doubt the bid was serious. A P.R. stunt ( again, his specialty). He should resign now for the sake of the country but that wouldn’t work unless the entire administration followed him out the door. We’ve got ourselves stuck between a rock and a hard place.
It's a nice thought, but after what his defense will be costing him when he no longer has presidential immunity, I don't think he'll have enough to buy even a Hot Dog at the stadium. If he wants to own a football team, his best bet would probably be to start popularizing the sport in Russia... or some nation with which we have no extradition agreement.
