@OldManOnFire I appreciate your passion on this subject, but it appears to exceed your knowledge.

 

It's very possible to do. The 49 States of America could get by just fine without the SOTC.

 

First, managing power lines is the responsibility of the private company named PG&E. It is a for-profit company.

Second, almost none of these fire areas involved public forest lands.

Finally, I live in the middle of northern CA in direct paths of these fires so my knowledge is just fine...
