Winner take all is a State issue. Not all states are winner take all. The EC eliminates the chance of a recount. Can you imagine what a national recount would be like?

You whine about ridiculous imagined scenarios. Trump was going to start wars, wreck the economy, tank the stock market, shut down the press, and none of it was true. He was Hitler. You're still at it with this dictator nonsense.

You will be mocked for it until you stop.

Bollocks and more bollocks! Show me how rather than simply stating the above as FACT!

FACT: We are already giving-away half the Discretionary Budget to the DoD (see below), which spends it upon both operating costs but also buying VERY EXPENSIVE EQUIPMENT. To such an extent that vendor companies have opened offices in walking distance to the DoD because they spend soooooo much time there!

What's worse is that we are presently having to recognize the debilitating Total Debt Cost of post-secondary schooling - which is the largest individual/family cost-element of the economy!

That is NOT the way it happens in other countries with an electoral majority of only two parties. LIke the UK, for example.

And why? Because there is neither in the UK an electoral-college nor gerrymandering of the popular-vote! Both distorsions are uniquely American voting-manipulations!

I don't give a rat's backside what they do in other countries. Allowing millions of immigrants to pour across the border who will ultimately vote for the Democrat party isn't voting manipulation? Really?

A law isn't sufficient. The Electoral college is part of the Constitution. It was designed because we are not a democracy, we are a representative republic.

Your blindness as regards the subject has been evident for quite some time.

    Moving right along ...

Useless drivel. The Electoral College is not now today nor ever was truly representative of the popular-vote.

If you can't understand why, it is useless for me to repeat what I have written on this forum.

    You go on Ignore ...

Answer my question or you won't get any more of yours answered till you do.

Allowing millions of immigrants to pour across the border who will ultimately vote for the Democrat party isn't voting manipulation?

Well is it or isn't it?

Ironic coming from a supporter of the bad joke infesting the Oval office.

For the most part, the Electoral College produces the same results as the popular vote. There have only been a handful of times when they have had different results. Most (until Trump's win) were when the popular vote margin was very close (such as the Bush vs. Gore 2000 election). Statistically speaking, that race was a tie. The winner ended up being the one with the highest geographical popularity, which makes sense.

Which really means you have no rebuttal, but would rather try to bluff your way out. Nowhere in the Constitution is democracy mentioned. The Constitution guarantees us a republican form of government.

When Dick Cheney and I agree, and on such a profound level, you have a once-in-a-lifetime event.

"In our 246-year history, there has never been a greater threat to our republic, than donald trump." - Dick Cheney

    The DNC you mean?

The whole motivation into shrinking the white voters/population is in the hopes that republicans lose their vote and power thus perpetually placing the DNC in charge...making them a dictatorship.

What do you guys visualize Trump doing on his worst day, at his most evil, that will destroy democracy? Mechanically, I mean. Specifically.

    It sounds a little hysterical.

He already tried. If you don't know by now I'm not going to explain it. Have you heard of the Jan 6th committee? Did you know trump is going to prison?

    Surely you are trolling right?

A little hysterical? Everything trumpers claim is pure insanity.

You know he likely killed over 100,000 Americans with his crackpot claims and lies, right? Or let me guess, you don't have a clue what I'm talking about, right? He is easily the greatest mass murderer in US history.
