The RNC tried hard to get her to run but she does not want to.

I agree that if she announced that she would immediately be at the head of the pack.

Sure...Ms. Mushroom Cloud Rice will clearly be a favorite. I wonder how the Conservatives will take to her having no choice but to support gay rights

I do not blame anyone for not wanting to run, I think she would be a strong pick, but some people just do not want the headaches that come with being President, especially when the political environment is so divided that getting even the most mundane things done is like pulling teeth

Not to worry. After seeing the utter disaster resulting from the Left putting a fellow into the presidency with ZERO meaningful national level experience the Right is unlikely to put a policy wonk with ZERO political experience into the Oval Office. Realistically, to even have a chance of becoming a competent president you need some serious national level political experience -- waaaaaaaaay more than Obama had -- whether or not you are a policy wonk.

That would put her in league with Hillary given what has been revealed recently.

My next point was actually going to be the fact that if the right wing points to Hillary as a liar and dredges up the non-conspiracy that was BENGHAZI, what type of field day Condasleazy's opponents can have with her and that would be fun to watch...oh yeah.

Hillary got fired, by a democrat, from the Watergate investigation for ethics violations.

    That is not made up.

What is made up about Condsleazy? This entire premise is silly because it will never happen anyway, so the OP can fantasize to his/her heart's content.

The fact that she was actually responsible for anything she did as SOS.

No SOS, including Clinton, does anything on their own without specific direction from the President.

Even freshmen political science students know this.

Certainly I'd vote for her if she were the GOP nominee, but she's repeatedly said she doesn't want the job.

And at this point not everyone is aware of what a scummy person Hillary is.

Cruz or Walker would clean her clock once their campaigns gear up and begin revealing the truth about Hillary to ALL the voters.

Hillary can be beaten by others besides Condi.

As I said, I'd vote for her but unless or until she decides she wants the job and the hassle of campaigning to get the gig, I'm locked in on Cruz or Walker.

One or the other will be the next POTUS.

No but I speak the truth regardless of my political leanings. Once overseas communication became almost instant the need for SOS's to act on their own went away. Today they are nothing more than messengers for the president and chief executive of the State department.

That is actually their real job which is where Hillary failed immensely at but when you see John Kerry sitting with foreign dignitaries he is not negotiating anything on his own, he is simply repeating what the president wants done.

Unfortunately you are correct. In addition Barack Obama is notorious for being a control freak micro-manager type. Neither one of his two Secretary of States have even squatted on the pot without the boss kibitzing their elimination process. Everything that Hillary did and that John Kerry is doing was and is done with Obama's hand shoved to the elbow up their rump. But, still, it's fun to blame those two just as if they were real SOSes.

Wow, your political knowledge is abhorrently dismal.

Your little video says that Rice gave the CIA permission to conduct torture tactics...no official documentation of course...that's just what the protestors say.

Now tell me, do you honestly believe that the Secretary of State runs the CIA?

    Hahahahaha

I could see Condoleezza Rice being a viable candidate. Absolutely.

    - - - Updated - - -

Conservatives think that Hillary as SOS gave away Uranium to Russia. Is that equally stupid? Hell, they think that Hillary killed Americans in Benghazi for pete's sake.

Her very real job is to run the State Department and she failed to provide the necessary security to that Embassy.

That one is totally on her.

The uranium thing she gets a pass on.

Since Condi is reputed to be a homosexual, that would complicate things. I would be more worried that she's not conservative enough or presidential enough to suit me.

Since Hillary is likely bi-sexual, it would be difficult for her to mention Condi's sexual proclivities. However, the totally dishonest Hillary would have her accomplices do that.

I would support Condi if she is nominated, but that won't happen. She would not be as strong a candidate as some think anyway.

The principle asset that Rice has going for her is that she is not a candidate.

That's a Catch XXII for the Repubs.

Only their fantasy nominees can win, and names such as "Elmer Fudd" can't appear on the ballot.
