http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=endscreen&v=EqQuihD0hoI&NR=1 the fantasy of belief............... what a ride! What religion is this born of?
Rob Zombie rarely discusses religion in public. He has said Dragula IS his religion but that seems like rhetoric to avoid the question to me. He has also said something along the lines that he thinks there is something out there but he doesnt know if he should call it 'god'. On that basis many people consider him agnostic.
"Dragula" Dead I am the one, Exterminating son Slipping through the trees, strangling the breeze Dead I am the sky, watching angels cry While they slowly turn, conquering the worm Dig through the ditches, And burn through the witches I slam in the back of my Dragula Dig through the ditches, Burn through the witches I slam in the back of my Dragula Dead I am the pool, spreading from the fool Weak and want you need, nowhere as you bleed Dead I am the rat, feast upon the cat Tender is the fur, dying as you purr Dig through the ditches, And burn through the witches I slam in the back of my Dragula Dig through the ditches, And burn through the witches I slam in the back of my Dragula Do it baby, Do it baby Do it baby, Do it baby Burn like an animal Dead I am the life, dig into the skin Knuckle crack the bone, 21 to win Dead I am the dog, hound of hell you cry Devil on your back, I can never die Dig through the ditches, And burn through the witches I slam in the back of my Dragula Dig through the ditches, And burn through the witches I slam in the back of my Dragula Do it baby, Do it baby Do it baby, Do it baby Burn like an animal Dig through the ditches, And burn through the witches I slam in the back of my Dragula Dig through the ditches, And burn through the witches I slam in the back of my Dragula Dig through the ditches, And burn through the witches I slam in the back of my Dragula It's a religious section. Drag-u-la is what? looks like he is talking about the reversal and what is 'to do' watch the video. i feel like that behind the wheel
I've watched the video. I've been to his concerts. You might consider me a 'fan'. His lyrics are best viewed as fiction, just like his movies. This particular song is inspired by a car. A fictional car, at that.
are you suggesting rz is just like a bunch of other people that like having fun but still open to possibilities? is there anything to that running down idiots theme? It gave me a biblical feel of what i do for a living?
