How so? When white women are the biggest beneficiaries of AA.

Half the QBs in the league are trash, so what is your point?

Eh, there's a reason I mark Pacific Islander on government forms...

    Much less competition.

I was opposed to AA at first but then realized that I, too, qualify for preferential treatment.

So, rightfully so, I've used it to my full advantage.

Then why did he choose the National Anthem to kneel?

Probably because it would upset people, right? Gotta upset people to generate conversation.

Its almost as if.... he knew people would disapprove of his disrespect during the one instant that everyone in this country should stand together.

Kap has a right to do what he did, but he's a piece of **** for doing it when he did it.

Speaking positively about the country isn’t a race thing. Sorry. The ONLY people who will disparage you are BLM folks and self
loathing leftists. Go ask successful athletes, actors and musicians to trade what they accomplished here to grow up in any other country where that success would NEVER have happened.

Besides you don’t have to support BLM to be against police violence especially when the premise is based on a lie. Michael Brown wasn’t murdered as multiple eye witnesses and autopsies proved. And the 3 women who started BLM are radical marxists who hate the country.

So you’re not a racist for disagreeing with what BLM stands for especially when the far bigger problem of inner city gang violence is infinitely more dangerous to black lives than police ever were or ever will be.

"Police brutality" is a problem, but it's not remotely one of our major problems.

Kaepernick can protest all he wants. Good for him. If he does it and embarrasses his employer by offending customers, he can be let go.

What has that got to do with anything? The black offensive guard who lets someone through to do harm to Brees has about 10 more minutes left in his NFL career.

Should I say "liberals"? "Progressives"? "Radicals"?

I'll use whatever term you'd like.

I used to be a real fan, watching every game that I could. Since the kneeling, I use the NFL as elevator music. I'll have the game on TV while I do errands and projects. But I don't sit and watch like I used to.

I still watch playoff games if the Patriots are playing.

I'm color blind. Any favoring of one race over another sickens me, whether it's police brutality against blacks or affirmative action.

Except for competitive weightlifting, where I participate, I never had use for any sports at all. They bore me to tears and always did. Why do anything where I'm not the only one winning and that doesn't leave me looking good even if I lose?

I was brought up on baseball and football. My dad took us to NY Mets and Chicago Cubs games when we were kids growing up in NY and Chicago. It was a fun. I continued that by taking my son to Texas Rangers games here in Dallas.

Like they said in "Field of Dreams", it's a bonding experience.

I take my kids to museums, carnivals, and natural wonders. Their uncles and my wife's family take them to games. They tell me they're always restive and act bored. Good kids.

I never saw that movie but always wondered, wasn't he scared of having a haunted cornfield right next to his house?

Because you lost interest in the NFL in general or because of the kneeling?
There are a lot of people that are turned off by how soft the game has become.

George F. Will used to say that being a Cubs fan was a test of character. Until last year, I guess.

    Brees was wrong.

Anyone in 2020 who still thinks kneeling in protest is done to insult the flag is simply displaying willful ignorance.

Something Brees acknowledged and apologized for.

One should wait before allowing their knees to make fools of them.
