Scott Walker won 58% to 41%, LOL. I'm watching MSNBC, it's freakin' hilarious. They're like, "there's an area of Wisconsin that Democrats can't penetrate, it's called FOX VALLEY." And in the background of the MSNBC guy there's people watching Fox on TV.
I've been watching their nonsense se as well while switching between it and FOX. It's not hard to see why their ratings are so low.
Wow! This election was a much bigger blow out than I expected. There are 3 senate races to be decided, VA, AK, and LA. LA is going to a Dec 6th run off but will likely end up in the GOP column. AK has the republican way ahead, but all the media went home for the night so they won't call it until tomorrow. So add two more to the GOP Senate for a total of + 9. VA was not even a battleground and was a come from behind surprise for the GOP. Though Ed Gillespie is likely to lose, only by a few thousand vote, less than 1% of the total.
I was flipping back and forth between FOX, CNN, and MSNBC last eve and was honestly impressed by the MSNBC people. They almost came off as more neutral than CNN, where Wolf looked like he was about to cry at any minute
I dunno, I didn't watch CNN but I had to stop watching MSNBC during the Scott Brown mockery. It was like they didn't care to report what was happening and felt that laying into the one guy who lost was more important. I do wish I had thought to tune into CNN though...
can you say "obamacare, baby". I freaking LOVE it. Dems had better vote to repeal it, or Hilary will be the worst mistake they could possibly make. lol. this coming year, the horrific biz effects of it will show everyone what a horror it really IS. End of democrats for a decade, at least! yippee. repeal all the gun laws, while we have the chance! Pass a new amendment, saying clearly 'everybody gets to carry a gun everywhere, all the time, concealed or openly, just because we want to".
This was a wipe out election not just on the national level, but also on the state level. Here is a map I made showing the the results of the election as to which party controls state houses: Red = Republican Control both houses (or one if unicameral) Blue = Democrats control both houses Grey = Each party controls one of the bodies of the legislatures Altogether Republicans control in 30 states, Democrats in 11 states and split in 6. Republicans control 65 state houses altogether, Democrats 23 with 4 undecided or tied.
Here's another map of the state houses. I think this might be more accurate than the one I posted above. Republicans control both houses of the state legislatures in 31 states and a total of 69 chambers more than 2/3rds of the total. Democrat control both houses of the state legislatures in only 11 states. Republicans and democrats split control in only 8 states.
Check it out libs. Read 'em and weep. If you notice we control 31 state legislatures (both houses, see above) and also hold 31 governors!
