Comic books? That's exactly where I would expect that kind of 'alternating upper case/lower case' word stylising.

So you think people who don't go to college are snowflakes, huh? Quite a few people I knew at university were from working class backgrounds. Those "elitist" are more the exception than the rule in my experience.

You're just as cranky as you were. Back to bed with you ..... and NO COMIC BOOKS or you'll risk another severe spanking. :steamed:

Again, it's you who should get to bed. You should get some sleep - you have a big day of "culturally Christian" living to do tomorrow! :roflol:

My Great Grandparents/MIDWEST first generation of Scandinavian immigrants were poorly educated farmers.

Fourth/Fifth generations, business owners and professionals.

I didn’t say anyone was a snowflake. I simply pointed out college educated folks crap on non college educated folks. So you shouldn’t be surprised to get the same treatment back.

Yep. That’s the American way. If you don’t like your circumstances you have ample opportunity to improve your circumstances.

I was born to poor, non college educated blue collar parents. Paid a large portion of my college/university tuition doing farm work for relatives and others. You just have to want it. Now I do both blue collar and white collar work. Best of both worlds. LOL.

But there’s nothing wrong with just wanting to pull wire or weld pipe either.

"Boomer" is a mindset, not an age. You once again are being a Boomer. xD

And yet you are unable to say what that so called "important function" is. How telling.

    I salute you!

I was raised on an active farm, and my late Dad was a chemical engineer at DuPont, and my late Mom, a K-8 teacher, thus, we had 3 sources of income.

In addition, same time period, I had 5 Uncles who owned trade-related businesses…..

    1. Electrical
    2. Mechanical
    3. Plumbing & Heating
    4. Construction
    5. Oil & Gas equipment/supplies.

…..and in my youth, I worked for all of them, and I’ve gained valuable knowledge and skills, AND THE BASICS OF ALL OF THE ABOVE SHOULD BE TAUGHT IN HIGH SCHOOL in lieu of “Death of a Salesman”, and Shakespeare.

Fast-forward to my first full-time employment as an engineer trainee, Phillips Petroleum, fixed offshore platforms, Norway.

Two days after my arrival at a camp site, the diesel generator broke down, and I told myself; “No worries, our technicians will soon repair the damn thing”.

One hour later, STILL DEAD. I then stepped out of my shack, got my hands dirty, and I got it running within 30 minutes.

Reaction from my “White Collar” associates, and technicians; SPEECHLESS!
