    I'm in Ellis County, but I'm interested in moving East to Kaufman or Van Zandt counties. The North side of DFW is more heavily populated and you need to live further to get rural. I prefer South or East. I grew up in Mesquite. West of DFW is desert and East is pine forest. South is hill country. North is wooded. Lakes are mostly North and East. If you move close we'll smoke a brisket. Ammo is almost too scarce to take to the range. I haven't found any in months.
