The NY Jets (my life long favorite team) are an absolute JOKE! Geno Smith is an even worse bust than Sanchez. You know its bad when fans are clamoring for Sanchez to come back. Yet head coach Rex Ryan STILL is starting Smith against the Raiders on Sunday! Why??? Give Matt Simms a shot how much worse can it get this season? Sure they have an outside shot at the playoffs but realistically they are done. The team is far from the team they were in 2009 and 2010 when they went to 2 AFC championship games. Rex Ryan though an excellent defensive coordinator knows nothing about offense. They have neglected the offense for years only drafting defensive players. Sheldon Richardson was the only positive draft choice this season as he is becoming a beast on the DL with Mohammad Wilkerson. Dee Milliner not so much. Fourth overall pick and he turns out to be nothing but a total scrub. Ryan deserves to be fired at the end of the season. Time to take the team in a new direction and join the new NFL. That means abandoning the "run first" offense, in today's NFL its an antiquated gameplan compared to the high powered passing games most team run. And not surprising those teams are constantly superbowl contenders.

    Enough is enough!

You're wrong about the run, it's still a vital part of the game. I do think you're right about Ryan. He's a loud mouth like his dad was, Buddy Ryan .

I would have fired him after his ridiculous decision to keep playing Sanchez during the pre-season for no clear reason, which begat Sanchez getting injured, which begat starting Geno Smith. All for no clear reason at all. When a coach throws his starters into a meaningless game and cannot justify his decision with anything approaching logic and reason, it's time for him to go.

Don't fire Ryan for this year. He's done better than what should have been expected of him with what he has to work with. The Jets suck.
