Any delay won't be because of the EU or Germany or France. Boeing initiated the Embraer takeover after Airbus executed a takeover of the Bombardier C Series program (now called the Airbus 220 series). So if the EU is butt hurt about Boeing, then they've only got themselves to blame. The EU didn't do a damn thing about Airbus taking over Bombardier's C Series planes. So as usual, the EU (France and Germany) are lying sacks of manure.

Embrear announced yesterday that the EU investigation delays the merger to 20th february. As long the EU has not made a decission, the merger is blocked.

Actually not. Its neither a pioneer nor is it Nr. 1. In last decade it has fallen again and again behind Airbus and now since the 737 Max desaster permanently behind Airbus in sales, development and quality.

Nations have no friends, just interests. The US government started this by putting 10% tariffs on european aircrafts. Its natural that you get a response. Somehow i think americans believe different standards appeal to them and others have to kneel. And when they get a response they act all sissy.

    Not at all.
Boeing didn’t make a mistake of building airplanes no one wanted.
Their only real recent mistake was to market 737 Max as the same aircraft as other 737s. If the plane was certified as brand new model/design, the pilots would have to go through real training to learn how to fly those things. Those two crashes probably would never have happened. So, Boeing’s real sin is greed.

We live now. And Boeing loses on all Fronts. Beside that Pioneers were German. Junkers, Dornier, Messerschmidt

Wrong. Otto Lilienthal did that 1891.

    https://de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Otto_Lilienthal

He is considered first human who did controlled flights

An airplane is a powered flying vehicle. It is not a glider. I'm all for German Pioneers. Just correcting your comment.
