    First case:
    If you earn taxable money, you use a bank.
    If you earn untaxable money, cash, you don't.

    Second case: When you earnt the money you paid the tax on it. Just as you will pay tax on it again when you spend it.

    Are you willing to apply the same argument to other people who don't use other government supported services?
    Charitable spending for example. Why should anyone have to pay that? Unemployment benefits to those who are not unemployed. State schooling to those who go private. State health care to those who don't use it.
    Tax spent on buses or trains for those who don't use them?
    The fire service. The police. Lbraries. Monuments. Public buildings. Parks. Plenty of taxes go towards things individual tax payers don't use personally.
    The bulk of our taxes are spent on things that have no personal benefit to us

    There are a lot more cases of tax payers paying for things they don't use than just banks. And a lot better examples of this too.
    Is this a point of principle to you or just an excuse?
