No doubt mental defectives will find that assertion very credible indeed.

And those who promote voluntary charity through private sources don't? I disagree with using the federal government to implement forced redistribution. I also believe it is not much different than turning humans into dependent pets. I also do not buy into the ridiculous nonsense that without these federal programs people will be dieing in the streets. Imo, forced redistribution is immoral and destructive to those who receive it.

You mean a study done by a progressive entity? LOL, and let's not excuse the fact that most colleges are liberal propaganda institutions. Considering your source and it's biased agenda, I'm seriously questioning your intelligence.

Mexico has such a system.... doesn't work so well

forced redistribution as you call it, taxes as I call it is needed, unless you want it to be like a monopoly game that needs restarted every so many years

keeping a percentage of the money circulating is critical for the economy

just like when we allowed women to work, at first it seemed like a boom to the family as the income rose, now to reach that same norm both parents must work

same would happen with no taxes, soon no taxes woudl be the norm and no longer have an advantage.... and in fact be harmful to society

To a bitter, cynical con it would appear that way.

Yes, we do. Your first post in this thread proves it solidly. See above.

Speak for yourself - they existed for me and I remember them fondly. And it wasn't so long ago either.

Hilarious, a study that links college to democrats. Again, colleges are liberal indoctrination centers. What party would come from them?

My post reflects the reality that democrats are more tied to those expect free things from other people's money. The fact that they advertise things as free shows their disconnect from intelligence.

IMO, you are as blinded to your government God as I was to my biblical God. At least I opened my eyes.

I remember when liberals wanted General Motor's scalp for leaving Detroit. But at some point the Democrats started giving GM money and the Republicans started calling for them to be left to fail. Liberals changed positions on it completely. Conservatives didn't really since they just kept applying the same standard. It's weird how some people's entire identity revolves around not being someone else.

I think that about sums it up. Fortunately, I have a couple sons who are smarter than me to keep me from lapsing into the 'good ol' days'.

Educational levels do not justify biased information.

Of course not. But neither does it make sense to blanket dismiss the work of people with advanced education.

I would welcome an unbiased study, but we are not likely to see one due to it being an smear tactic.

Especially when you assume all of them are biased, sight unseen.

Complicated question. Up until about 5 years ago, no; While you had to take into account that they were conservative, I thought their research had to be taken seriously.

But then they went from being a think tank to an advocacy group, and hired Jim DeMint to lead them. They are just another partisan hack organization now..
