The GOP has instead of losing 10-20 house seats this election will instead gain 11-12 depending on this one. What was 233-201-1 will become 223-212 or 222-213. No more Libertarian and much narrower democrat control. The numbers I used above are from real clear politics.
The GOP flipped 3 seats in California now. Of the 11 GOP congress persons now from California we have an Arab America, two Asian American ladies, and two Hispanics. This diversity is happening across America.

Of the 200 Republican Congressmen, only 35 are women. Not very impressive considering that women are 51% of the population. Only 9 Republican US Senators out of 50 are women. 17 of the 48 Democrats in the Senate are women. 80 of the Democrats in the House are women.

The GOP recount winner in Iowa 2 won her recount by 6 votes. Tenny is up by 13 votes. Democrats are almost assured of losing the House in Biden’s 2022 midterm election.

The Republicans were on the right track before Trump came along. You think Trump will run with a woman? Or appoint a black to SoS? A black woman? They have a long way to go to get back to the inroads made by Bush and McCain.
Bush made inroads only with Hispanics. McCain and Romney none at all. Trump got a higher percentage of the minority vote than any Republican for president since 1960. He got 30% of the gay vote. Trump was the moving force behind the outreach. If Trump runs in 2024 I could easily see him running on a ticket with Nikki Haley or Tim Scott.
