I'm not even sure the relevance of this as the sort of "fake news" I'm looking for other than the idea that people questioned Trump's use of the statistics, and apparently, rightly so.

Everyone agrees, do they not, that Trump, in general, misstates things, and repeatedly. I don't recall a time where he said he got something wrong and corrected it.

Also, I'm not sure that anyone would argue the notion that many people who are coming to the U.S. have to go through lousy conditions and situations before they get here....and even after. Some of us have great sympathy for the plight of these people and hope they can find a better life.

But we need it.” CNN removed the portion of their report about Sherelle and owned up to their error. “An earlier version of this story mischaracterized what the victim’s sister was trying to convey.
