Apparently Labour's biggest loses are expected in its Brexit supporting constituencies. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/election-2019-50755004
A bit tough on Jeremy Corbyn who really wanted to make the Fourth International great again, but as you suggest, it will be nice to have a government that isn't ashamed to be British.
I saw an amazing thread today on Twitter re: Corbyn... https://twitter.com/Doranimated/status/1205173082941542404
That about sums it up. Personally I don't think Wurzel wants to win. He has spent forty years going down in glorious defeat and victory now would just confuse him.
Looks like our two countries will get that trade deal after all. Win win. Slap Brussels on the way out for me.
It makes it more likely but it will not be a slam dunk. And like the way these complex deals go I guess the negotiations will take some time.
Yeah I hope not. Mike Pompeo was in the news a while back and it seemed he was ready with pen in hand quivering with excitement over the prospect of a quick deal. We’ll see. Anyway it will be a defining moment for UK and it’s future trading, diplomatic and political relationship with the US.
