Well the fact that while Latin America is far to leftist for my liking, the fact that there are no longer any communist dictatorships in Latin America shows that America's Cold War Foreign Policy was entire correct. I see nothing wrong with backing the pro-American side in a civil war that is going to happen anyway. Those atrocities would've happened were the US involved or not. So putting all this death and destruction on the heads of the USA is insane and completely and totally biased by Soviet Era propaganda. The US created the system of terror in Latin America. The CIA, State Department and DOD. They set up the system and maintained it for decades. It then shifted to the NED free trade pact system. It is not propaganda just because you dont like it.
