For this thread, lets' assume that President Trump is correct and the mainstream media is often reporting FAKE NEWS. I'm talking about all fake news, not just related to Trump's politics.

Let's see if we can answer these questions:

1.} Is programming the viewer's mind part of this FAKE NEWS, and if so, what are the programmed thoughts they are attempting to impose on the viewer?

2.) What techniques do they use to manipulate the thoughts of the viewer?

3.) Can you show any video examples of fake news and explain how it's fake?

4.) What is the purpose or agenda behind fake news?

5.) Which news service is the producing the most fake news?

6.) Is there a specific profile of a person that indicates their thoughts have been altered by the false content of fake news?

7.) Hypnotists often use triggers to handle their subjects and get them to do or say something they have been pre-programmed with. Does fake news do this too?

8.) Is there anyway to break a person free of the false programming of fake news.

9.) Your general thoughts on FAKE NEWS?

    ABOUT THIS POST

Use of such terms as tin foil hat, paranoid, or insane instead of actually addressing the facts of this issue will simply be ignored.

I'm posting this in the conspiracy theory forum for a reason. I'm looking to tap into the forum with most detail oriented, analytic, and critical minds to help me with this issue. Please prove me correct.

The problem is that a number of people seem to be conflating the terms, "Fake News," and "Opinion Pieces". They feel that
when a person presents an OPINION on TV news channels or in newspapers, that this is reporting, "Fake News." It's not, it is
    an opinion.

So I'm more inclined to blame the viewers of "fake news," than the presenters - Americans need to become more educated
on the components of opinion vs news.

Hannity is not news - it's opinion.
Saturday Night Live is not news - it's opinion (and satire).
Maddow is not news - it's opinion.

When you link a quote to the NY Times Opinion Page - it's not news, it's opinion.

I see numerous links on these pages that connect to Opinion Pages and Blogs - yet try to be passed off as "news".
