It creates undue panic and surges in consumer spending related to "emergency supplies." There is not a singular surface level temperature projection for the next five (5) days that exceeds more than 80-degrees Fahrenheit anywhere in the areas where these fake state of emergencies are now suddenly imminent. PG&E will be shutting down primary electrical power to entire county grids one-by-one and for what - claims of impending Fire Hazards? How are those "fires" supposed to be ignited! Who is planning to ignite new fires throughout such a massive portion of California, where NONE exist already!!! What is PG&E worried about? Or, WHAT is PG&E planning - more to the point. This company needs to be removed from the face of the earth. Completely disbanded as the cornerstone monopoly it has been for countless decades in this country. This Rothschild Subsidiary (PG&E) needs to GO! This is one of the most corrupt Utilities in all of America. The fact that this Rothschild 'Subsidiary' can have this kind of impact on California's Government is astounding to behold. It is high time for Californians to wake the hell up and realize what's taking place directly under your collective nose. Massive California fires have been STARTED by PG&E implicitly over the years. Huge portions of California, have BURNED as a direct result of fires begun by PG&E. A massive gas explosion in San Bruno, California, was CAUSED by PG&E. This company has killed and displaced more Californians, than the collective of most natural disasters in California. This company must GO!
Santa Clara County scheduled to be shutdown by PG&E by 5pm today. Santa Clara Country current weather outlook: No way in hell this kind of atmospheric condition supports a claim of increased fire hazard, nor does it warrant shutting down electrical power.
Current Temperature/Dewpoint Spreads: These spreads are relatively tight but normal for this time of year in Northern California. These are NOT "fire hazard" spreads. In fact, some of these spreads are 1:1. That's not a "fire hazard" waiting to happen. Even when you go further east on the map towards Modesto, one of the hottest places in Northern California during the heated season, the spreads remain relatively stable. When you go further west they drop, showing higher humidity and even lower temperatures. So, why would PG&E claim imminent threat of "increased fire hazard conditions" when there is absolutely nothing in Northern California atmosphere that would indicate that such a threat actually exists? They are talking about five (5) days without power. That's a week without electrical power and no guarantee of power returned after said time period. Yet, there is no fire in the areas where the outages are imminent and no real physical threat of fire either on the ground or in the immediate atmosphere. In fact, atmospheric conditions say the exact opposite at present. So, WHO is planning on fires in these areas when conditions do not warrant them?
The fire hazard would most likely be caused by PG&E equipment. Did not a whole town burn to the ground last year from a fire caused by PG&E equipment? It seems that they lack the capacity to serve the demand. They were part of Enron.
