I am surprised that over some 40 views, not one ID'ed

"A F is short of water".

It was one of those moments in history when, The Lord Was With America, again
    like "The Battle of Trenton".
There are "slugfests" such as the Battle of Kursk.
Times when American stubbornness such as The Lost Battalion of WW1 or The Battle of the Bulge won the day.
And times when too many lucky cards fall on to one sides advantage that seems to invoke Divine intervention.
Or as I like to think of it, Manifest Destiny.

"A F is short of water"
and the subsequent events is one of those times y'gotta believe whose side the Lord is on.

Worth the watch. Another Eastern European Jewish immigrant :blankstare:

Isn't that one of the most singular things about America, is that we know whose side the Lord is on.
Regardless of individual ancestry, religion, etc. Our unique Thanksgiving Holiday celebrates that.
And you have to wonder, what other nation can express divine American exceptionalism with such a straight face.

"A F is short of water" and subsequent events is such a moment in history to make me wonder.

Well if you look how the subsequent battle unfolded. You have to wonder lol. If it could go wrong for the looser. The winner did not make any serious miss steps through the whole battle

Even battle like the Bulge and Kursk dont really fit. At Kursk the Russian had virtually months to decide what to do. British intelligence virtually handed them the entire German battle plan

What happened to the WW2 buffs who idolize the Battle of Midway and
the means the code breakers used to verify, target A F was Midway.

Okay Wizard, here is an easier one. Easier because I can't think of a more difficult one.
    "Nuts" :cool:

    Si ! Bastogne
One analysis I heard was that response bought some hours for the Americans.
The German commander thought it was improper and offered a proper surrender a second time,
and wishing for a proper response.
"Nuts" was the response the second time. That consumed precious daylight hours.

wyly, do you have one to offer ?
