Fantasy is children's literature

    I think George R.R. Martin ("Game of Thrones") and Anne Rice ("Interview with the Vampire"), would disagree with you. You have obviously also, never read manga or seen anime. Titles like Berserk, Death Note and Tokyo Ghoul, while fantasy, are most definitely not for children.

    why not a child?
    War is studied in primary school.

    I'm sorry, I thought this thread was about whether all fantasy is children's literature, not about whether children should be exposed to adult situations and themes. Please make up your mind.

    You're clearly not well-read to make such a statement--especially if you think Harry Potter and Lord Of The Rings represents the world of fantasy literature.

    Huh. Maybe you think Hamlet is a "silly ghost story."
