Oh but I can. If I stand in front of a store or bank and protest about its activities I'm exercising my democratic and legal rights. Furthermore let's not get too cosy with capitalism here. How many hundreds of thousands of people suffered from the apalling incompetence of the Gods of Wall Street, Goldman-Sachs, and their cabal? How many banks used your money to continue paying out obscene amounts in 'bonuses' after your money had saved their arses? Too bloody right I'm going to protest-especially if businesses like theirs are propping up AIPAC! If they go out of business as a result then, tough.
If you can abridge my right to enter a place of my choosing then I can abridge my rights on your face with my fists.
Not to mention since humans are involved in economics, no economic system will be perfect or without flaw. You can complain about capitalism now, but every system has had and will have flaws.
Nobody is 'abridging' anything. Peaceful protest is a way of bringing attention to an issue. If your only response is violence then that, I'm afraid, is the way of fascism.
You just said you think you can rightfully stop someone from entering a store or using a business. Are you talking about peaceful protest or stopping(by getting the way) people that don't have your views from using a service or buying goods from businesses they want to use?
No, I didn't say anything about physically preventing anything. I said, clearly, that I can lawfully protest or demonstrate against the practises of a business in its proximity. If that results in the business losing custom the purpose has been served.
Yes of course, as long as people are still able to enter the business. Most State and Local municipalities do require you to have a permit to protest on public land, though as long as you're not the nazis you'll more then likely get a permit. Now if you're on private land, and if you don't have the land owners permission, then you need to move your protest to public land.
If people don't vote then they don't participate in democracy. That lesser of two evil meme is a juvenile attempt at explaining why nobody cares about your opinion. You don't have the guts to put your life and credibility on the line so instead you try to ridicule the actions of other.
Refusing to buy is one thing. Blockading a business is another. The people in my example aren't just refusing to buy, they block the access to a legitimate business because he sells a couple of pair of shoes from Israel. The guy ain't even jewish and has nothing to do with the conflict there.
Consider that the ' business' was formed by expropriating a property in the West Bank, forcing out the legitimate occupants- perhaps killing , injuring or arresting some of them- and producing goods through virtually captive labor. Bear in mind that even being in the West Bank is illegal for this ' business'. How is your example looking ?
Ah, the blind eye. What ? The New York Times has noticed that Israel is not a democracy ? Who woke them up ?
The fascists still want it, they're just worried that the world will shove it back up their Zionist asses.
It's back though, along with worse. Of course it's ' tearing the jewish people apart '. We've been saying that for years. The jewish people deserve better than neoZionism can offer.
A mere setback for Ashkenazi fascism. Here's someone you can get behind, neoZionists, all the way to Zionist hell.
When you see stuff like this appearing in a country's mainstream press you know that it's topple-time for another rotten regime.
Yes, that's pretty damming (sic) stuff. (What is it about Americans and d*a*m*n-is it really so outrageous a word?)
No what you know is that unlike in the occupied territories of the Islamic Imperialist swine (which includes every Muslim majority country on the planet except for Saudi Arabia) Israel has freedom of the press.
IN the USA the isreal juewish own, and operate the press, and the entertainment industry. Hence the portrail of muslims to be the white devil. LOLLLLLL........ No but seriously, the US broadcast meida (visual and periodical) is owned and operated and edited by jeuwish people with strong ties to their culture and religion. And, a strong dislike towards muslims. That is why they do not portray muslims and other races for that matter like real humans. They are very good at keeping the USA clueless of real life muslim cultural behavior. Picture the white people of the US South filtering and editing all the news passed out to the massess about the blacks. Same thing but on a international level.
