Show us a study that back up your assertion. The article you've quoted isn't a study.

But it's not a cop out in Trump's case and that is what I was talking about.

YOU are the one who wanted to talk about the connection between political outlook and obeisity.... I was just looking into how that idea seems to work in the real world. Leftists in California are thinner, rightist in Texas are fatter. So apparently the ideology of personal responsibility is not effective in achieving a healthy weight and lifestyle .

Of course there is another possibility... maybe those fat people in Texas really are not so committed to personal responsibility as they claim

And, since you bring up god, it also happens to be the case that the most religious states are also the fattest states.... so maybe that is evidence of god’s responsibility? Are all these church gowers surreptitiously chowing down on communion wafers?

Personal responsibility is not something the right is keen on.

Look at Trump. He never takes responsibility for anything, he never has, and he never will.

Dyslexia is not a disease. You are just not taking responsibility for your spelling errors. See how this works?

Then you're memory ain't what it used to be.

Scientific proof? Nah....I'm going by what the WH physician stated. Maybe you can ask him if he has any scientific proof.

"President Trump's military physician on Tuesday credited the president's genes for his "excellent" health despite his reported fast food habits and lack of exercise.

“It’s called genetics. I don’t know, some people have just great genes," Navy Rear Adm. Dr. Ronny Jackson said at the White House press briefing after delivering the results of Trump's physical.

"You know, I told the president that if he had a healthier diet over the last 20 years, he might live to be 200 years old,” Jackson continued.

“He has incredibly good genes, and it’s just the way God made him."

You are the one saying it's a false story so you are the one that has to prove your assertion.

So Trump walks a total of only 400 feet during a typical game of golf. Do you really expect anyone to believe that..
So you would believe a WH staffer over NPR.
"I clipped a pedometer on Gary's golf partner, his wife, Karen, to see how many steps she'd get during a round of golf using a cart."
"She surprised me, clocking 2,880 steps — more than a mile — during nine holes. "Wow, that's great," Karen said, when she saw the number."
"The distance can vary — better golfers, with more accurate shots, may walk less than golfers who have to chase after more shots in the rough — but the foundation's research finds that even golfers using a motorized cart can burn about 1,300 calories during an 18-hole round."
But maybe you should read the whole article.

Where does this in anyway involve personal responsibility? You aren't the first person in this thread that forgot to read the first post lol.

I would believe what the doctor said. Do you think the doctor lied about Trump and his 'incredibly good genes'?
You think Trump is chasing after shots in the rough? Come on. I golf...everyone who uses a cart drives as close as humanly possible to their ball.

The point is, not nearly as many Dems need an excuse. ;)

Everyone knows that classic liberals are healthier than classic conservatives. So Dems are on the average already living healthier lifestyles than Reps. So you have to wonder which Dems they chose to poll.

Poverty is probably more significant than party affiliation in both cases.

But since you aren't even an American, how would you know, right?

Of course you would. It supports your story. NPR actually has data to support their version.
That must really tear up those greens. Your exaggeration holds no water and it gets worse by the minute.

Anytime I hear "EVERYONE". I get suspicious.

400 feet. Give me a break.

It is also based on a paper called "Nanny State Politics" and was not published in a proper journal. So it is not peer reviewed.

Translation - it is meaningless and likely biased given the title.

Why is it that right wing claims often turn out to be crackpot. Hmmmmm....

But we have another righty here who doesn't even believe in Newtonian Physics - with 300 years of validation. So there you go!

It was the WH doctor who said it. Not some random doctor. And the NPR story wasn't about Trump was it? So yes, I'll believe what the WH doctor said about Trumps health over what NPR says about Gary and Karen.
400 ft? Maybe not exactly. Could be 500 if I decide to look for lost balls. I'm guessing Trump doesn't walk around looking for lost balls though.

Trump always hits his shots to the edge of the green. That way he can park within five feet of the ball. Otherwise, it would tear up the green.
    Whish....

I was referring to the fairway shots. To putt maybe we walk 10 to 15 feet. Still not strenuous. I love how tweaked you are over this.
