confusing times and nobody had any idea that the FBI was being weaponized to go after Flynn and ultimately President Trump.

We call that "Fog of war"

The FBI threatens you, tells you you do not need a lawyer, and if you do not plead guilty we will go after your family.
    Go figure.

only works if ones family is an accessory of something and one knows they are guilty

often they threaten to go after family as accessories if the perp does not tell the truth

and yes, cops are allowed to lie, should we make it a crime for a cop to lie to a suspect, if so that needs to apply across the board to all suspects

cops will even lie and say they think a suspect is innocent to the suspect to try to get them to trust them and tell then more

Flynn lied, he confessed, open and shut case

You are in front of a number of agencies over a period of time. You are asked the same question with dates going back months or years, you are told you do not need a lawyer, you are told you better plead guilty.
Don't give me his family is guilty of something crap. If the FBI wanted to challenge anyone in your family, believe me, they can find something one of them did wrong at some point in their life and if you say that happened on May 8, and a month later agree that something happened on May 9, you have lied.
Your case might hold some water but it drained dry when the names, videos, and texts, of those involved, were made public.

That's a really really terrible defense. Like, well below your usual standards.

Mueller asked him about whether he talked about sanctions or not. Flynn said no. Mueller then explains he has evidence to the contrary. Flynn changes answer to 'i don't recall' and then resigns a few days later.

Nothing confusing about it. Either he did talk about Sanctions or he didn't. Mueller indicated he had evidence that Flynn did. Trump and the WH won't allow the release of the materials that would clear this up.

The only fog here is Trump's attempts to keep the truth hidden.

if you are asked if you had any interactions with Russia, if you did you know it, just say so, there was no need to lie

how much was he paid by a foreign government? do you think he forgot?

"Disgraced Trump adviser Mike Flynn admits he worked as a “foreign agent” for the Turkish government"

    https://www.vox.com/world/2017/3/9/14868680/trump-adviser-michael-flynn-foreign-agent-turkey-lobby

"It turns out Flynn’s ties to foreign governments don’t stop at Russia."

the next doj may be able to go after him on these things, the plea bargain no longer applies if case dropped

Did you make that up by yourself, or did the fake news channels help you think that?

They're going to go after Flynn for a FARA violation for telling the WH in January, and registering in March? That rates a big yawning "so what."

Are the left going to go after Tony Podesta & his company for not registering? How about john "Lurch" kerry? Gonna go after him?

Oh, the silly vindictive left. smh ...

All your comments should have been directed at his lawyer. Sa soon as you understand that, we can proceed.

Good. If he committed a criminal act he should pay the price.

I notice you didn't mention Feinstein though in your commentary.

No. The fifth and final report from the Committee is finished, being edited, with a release time table of August.

The administration is looking to hold up the Senate report’s public release. The questioning at Ratcliffe's DNI confirmation hearing made that clear.

The DOJ’s very public approach to Burr as opposed to Loeffler is not ordinary and definitely curious.

Burr’s pulling himself away in an effort not be a distraction to the committee’s conclusion.

Yeah. The administration is covering for “their own”.

Barr will just let him off the charges because he is a Republican.

If they're in the GOP and not named Mitt Romney, what else are you going to get??

Little Marco gets the call... Mark Warner accepts him, so that's good enough for me...

Thoughts?? Of all the current GOP Senate, I don't find him to be near the bottom....

It probably means Barr has to reason to resign. Only the enemy is calling for resignation.
