There are similar destructive ramifications though. Two different roles make for family....husband and wife, Mom and Dad. Of course there are extremely rare situations where other arrangements need to suffice, but to describe same sex couples as a perfectly normal avenue to raising a family is absurd. Todays culture would like to assert the government can raise our children (as in Hillary's "it takes a village") so in light of that, I guess same sex couples is not any worse. It is a perversion of the ideal family.
The law of gravity, I would say is black and white. The law of "reaping and sowing" is black and white. Many things are black and white. I'd prefer to use the terms "light and darkness". Where there is light, darkness retreats. Black and white is a simile to "good and evil". Those who prefer shades of grey often don't recognize evil as an entity.
The ideal family is two loving parents. Gender plays little to no role. Did Hillary come up with “it takes a village?” Or was she simply citing an old adage?

Then you seem to not understand there is a difference (a very big difference) in male and female and how they approach the world we live in, each having a lot to contribute. You'd just like to blurr those lines. Hillary expounded on the adage.

OK, if some people want to do all this same-sex relationship stuff and change their gender by utterance or physically do so. Just get on with it but stop trying to control or impede on my life or our culture. We all have issues and problems in life. Get on with it and stop playing the victim. My neighbour has severe Piles --- as far as I know he does not start every sentence with ... "as a man with Piles, I think ......."
Harm is pretty easily defined and observed. Are those your actions affect worse off because of them? That is harm. I am a judge of no man.
I understand the difference between men and women. I also understand that the difference is not so great that two same sex parents can not raise a child just as well. You view places more value on the roles and not enough on the real people involved.
It's the latest fad like those beehive hairdos in the '60s. It gives them a certain celebrity status.
