Why would anyone look to a president for information about a virus? Listen to the doctors folks.

Wondered how far Trump fans would go to defend the Trumpster ... this is an interesting twist “You shouldn’t have been listening to him all along...”.

So it's our fault for listening to what he says about the virus ... god, that is the most hilarious defense of Trump to date.

Why do you think Lysol issued a warning NOT TO DRINK their product after Trump's smart thinking?

And yet, before COVID-19, you were doing even better under Trump.........yet you still apparently despise Mr. trump.....interesting

Joe Biden, while not relevant to this discussion, is exponentially smarter than Trump.

And you literally said, "In fact, a black pastor in Harlem once called Obama "A long legged Mac Daddy" (meaning treacherous skank)."

I mis-typed it and said skunk, but I still very much doubt that long legged mac daddy means treacherous skank.

Actually, I started dumping stock Before the virus became an international issue - there were already signs the economy was slowing down because of Trump's trade wars. And I dislike Trump because I had dealings with him before he was President.

Explain how the Democrat candidate for President to replace Mr. trump is not relevant to this discussion, if I believe he is?
I won't even touch the claim Biden is smarter than Trump since it's so bizarre.

I very much doubt it means "decent human being" either.

Trade wars that were necessitated by decades of Presidents who, in the name of big business profits, ignored the warning signs about China.
Would you defend China and say that it is dealing with the US under fair terms?
I find it disgusting that when a man finally decides to stand up for America first, half the population attacks him viciously and relentlessly.

Your dislike of Trump as rehashed repeatedly in this forum seems to me to go far beyond any event that may (or may not) have occurred in the past.
Have you detailed this alleged "event" anywhere on this forum?
Your criticism of the President, in fact, fits perfectly with the narrative from the radical left, which has been on a witch hunt since his election. I suspect it's Globalists rage.

There are just as many (or more) people who have dealt with Mr. Trump in the past also and found him reasonable.

I NEVER said he's "perfect" or infallible. But what I will say adamantly is that compared to any other US President in modern history, he seems to think of US citizens first. I like that.

I will also say that it seems that at least half the people in the USA (or claim to be on forums) are doing the US great harm by showing the world and especially our enemies how disjointed and weak we are in terms of a community and a society.

All the negativity about The President serves no good for America. It simply tells our enemies that we are vulnerable. In my opinion it is a form of treason.

You people whine and carry on like children over every breath he takes and every word he mutters. If Mr. Obama had worked in America's best interests I would have supported him. Instead he supported Iran, China and nearly every state enemy of the US. Mr trump HAS NOT DONE THAT (yet)

If you think he has then man up and clearly say how. And I'm not talking about nitpicking his every word. I'm talking about serious global matters.

There are tons of conservative economists and politicians who would disagree with you on the "necessity" of trade wars.
And the Trump narrative began long before he ran for President - it started with bankruptcies, infidelity, law suits (thousands of them) bogus citizenship investigations, partners being investigated for money laundering, questionable dealing with his own charity and university, untruthful claims to the press about the solvency of his casinos and airline service.

You can pretend that this all just started when Trump became President - but there is a long history of Trump's aversion to the truth.

When the Red Chinese will willingly not agree to stop their theft of intellectual material from the US at the rate of ~ $400B per year the next step is tariffs on imports from them. Name some economists who disagree with that.

Nobel Prize winning economists Joseph Stiglitz and Michael Spence to begin with.
You can Google "Economists against trade wars" for a number of other Nobel Prize winning economists who also think trade wars for any reason are a bad idea.

How does Stiglitz propose to stop the Red Chinese from stealing our intellectual property which results in thousands of job losses in the US every year ??

Trade negotiations - not trade wars.
They take longer, but they're far less damaging to both economies.

Yeah right. The Red Chinese have been ignoring regulations, copyright, and patents for decades. You believe they will capitulate now ??? That’s hilarious.

The very point of the TPP was to force capitulation by China through exerting trade pressure from every single neighboring country.

    Here's my Sunday morning sermon;

"We ought to listen to what he says"

    Really?

    Not among Pentecostals, "in one ear, and out the other", as WE believe;

"We ought to talk and walk like Christ", NO exceptions!.....

…..and evidently, in reference to 1 John 2:6, Trump's Christian supporters have excluded Trump.

    Very sad, indeed.

Yeah right. Dream on if you think a multinational agreement would have reduced the theft of US property by the Red Chinese.

    Duh.

I thought we were talking about how the virus works in warm or hot weather as opposed to cold.
