Her opponent was an anti-Trump Republican. The GOP candidate for governor won HANDILY, but then the refused to vote for the anti-Trumper.

McSally was not a regressive illiberal who endorsed US citizens joining the Taliban. Ducey will appoint McSally to fill McCain's seat currently occupied by Jon Kyl.

Does the flake Flake have any Alice In Wonderland expectation that the House would pass such a bill and then the president would sign it? Do any of these morons have any concept of the separation of branches, or know how to spell Soviet-Stalinistic prosecutions?

It is not a good point; it is a false point.

No. Those are all valid reasons for firing Mueller.

    :roflol:

    Bottom Line:

If it passes the House and Senate, and Trump fails to sign it--It is clearly an Admission of GUILT by Trump (and a signal that he is hiding something).

    Case closed.:salute:

Actually I think it would have been a good idea for that guy she was talking to to join the Taliban.

I said the claim that the president has to explain a veto is false. But if you want to quick change the argument to CYA, I won't get in the way.

No, technically, he doesn't have to explain his veto, politically, he is going to have to come up with something believable, which to date hasn't been Trump's strength

There's no way Mitch the Bitch will ever allow it to come to the floor.

Assuming you meant "has", no, he doesn't. I'll concede the optics on doing that would not be good, but the President (any President) is under no obligation to explain a veto.

Trump does not have to "show why". What world are you living in?

I don't think there'd be any evidence until after the firing took place.

Not mandated to show why, but the American public will require a reason, and politically, nothing Trump can fabricate will sound anything but personal, raising more questions than Trump would hope to squash

Only the new AG can stop Mueller, it's not in the hands of Congress, Senate, Trump or anyone else.

No, but you don't honestly think he shouldn't explain anyway?

    McConnell should allow the vote.
Would be interesting to see how many more RP Senators are ready to see their approval numbers sink to Flakeian levels. ;-)

Trump has the authority, but the AG is most likely, if anyone.
