    The revolving door between the EPA and leftists environmental NGO's is well known and more and more we are seeing collusion between the EPA and these NGOs through those who jump between both. New FOIAed e-mails show just how much the decision making process of the EPA is being controlled by leftists environmental NGO's.

    The EPA is supposed to be an objective agency working for the good of the taxpayer. Not an organization working for vested interest groups. It comes as no surprise that this revolving door policy between the EPA and environmental NGO's has led to such corruption.

    Power corrupts.

    The EPA has power, therefore is corrupt.

    The link is corroboration.

    its not just that.

    Why is the EPA staffed by environmental wackos?

    Why is the ATF staffed by gun control nuts?

    The very existence of a regulatory agency will attract those who wish to abuse the regulatory power.

    They aren't.

    These regulatory agencies are typically executive staffed by people taken from the very industries they regulate.

    This whole thread is utterly false. The emails are not coordination - they are explanations. :roll: Look at the following - hearings held in San Francisco would certainly appear to nothing but a skant to environmentalists, while there are plenty of oil companies and oil company employees in Denver so they would have an easy and economical ability to testify:

    After the pro-corporation anti-environment political hacks we had under GW Bush, these current criticisms are absurdly mild, even if they were true. But they are BS.

    Of course, there are NO FOIA records of Republican meetings with every fossil fuel interest in the USA when they were formulating the Republican plan for our environment at the start of the last Republican presidency - they had the meetings, which were IN the White House, as COMPLETELY secret, no taxpayers allowed to see what went on.

    Bush said it was NONE of our business what they talked about!

    Bush's last EPA appointee, who conveniently followed Bush's strange position of opposing state regulations in favor of Bush' [non-existent] Federal regulations :roll::

    this is the "current events" section. If I'm not mistaken, we've had a different administration for over 5 years and even 5 years is not a current event

    Oh my. seems these critics aren't familiar with the EPA's mission nor its stated priorities. And its right there on their website too.

    http://www2.epa.gov/aboutepa/our-mission-and-what-we-do

    Our Mission
    The mission of EPA is to protect human health and the environment.

    EPA's purpose is to ensure that:

    •all Americans are protected from significant risks to human health and the environment where they live, learn and work;
    •national efforts to reduce environmental risk are based on the best available scientific information;
    •federal laws protecting human health and the environment are enforced fairly and effectively;
    •environmental protection is an integral consideration in U.S. policies concerning natural resources, human health, economic growth, energy, transportation, agriculture, industry, and international trade, and these factors are similarly considered in establishing environmental policy;
    •all parts of society -- communities, individuals, businesses, and state, local and tribal governments -- have access to accurate information sufficient to effectively participate in managing human health and environmental risks;
    •environmental protection contributes to making our communities and ecosystems diverse, sustainable and economically productive; and
    •the United States plays a leadership role in working with other nations to protect the global environment.

    To accomplish this mission, we:
    Sponsor partnerships
    We don't protect the environment on our own, we work with businesses, non-profit organizations, and state and local governments through dozens of partnerships. A few examples include conserving water and energy, minimizing greenhouse gases, re-using solid waste, and getting a handle on pesticide risks. In return, we share information and publicly recognize our partners.

    There isn't any corruption, this is yet another lame attempt at manufacturing scandal where none exists. The renaming of the tiny and not very influential American Tradition Institute to the official sounding still tiny and still not very influential Energy and Environment Legal Institute was admittedly a good move. But this kind of nonsense does ZERO for its credibility.

    Imagine a public agency, stating its public mission and describing how they go about achieving said mission on their website is COMPLETELY LOST ON THESE CLOWNS.

    The emails being referred to are years old.

    And the complaints are general!

    Exactly HOW are non-profit, public interest, largely volunteer and donations environmental groups a "vested interest group"????

    Its the industries that wish to make vast sums of money destroying our public lands and water who are the "vested interest groups".

    Environmental groups ARE protecting the taxpayers from the ripoff by the vested industry interests.

    1] Start a congressional oversight investigation into EPA abuse and corruption.

    2] Seize ALL of the emails, cell phone txt msgs, and other electronic comms from ALL EPA employees.

    3] Create a list of employees and representatives of all known Environmental groups, NGOs, activists, and particularly foriegn government environmental front organizations seeking to disrupt / harm the American Economy.

    4] Place ALL EPA employees on a paid leave with all powers and authority suspended.

    5] Cross Reference the EPA Comms with the Known List of External Agency Actors. When a link is found, and particularly when MANY links for a given EPA employee is found, investigate, if evidence is found, Charge, Arrest, Prosecute and if found Guilty, Imprison.

    6] Require ALL EPA employees to re-apply for their jobs, and carefully screen them for Radical Activists, Attitudes, Agendas, and unexplained sources of income/lifestyle. Only re-hire those who appear to be putting the best interests of America first, not a self-serving, or radical environmentalist agenda.

    America NEEDS to have an EPA.

    America is worse off with the current, corrupt, and radicalized EPA, than if it were to have NO EPA at all.

    please feel free to discuss a current event and not something from over 5 years ago. We've had 5 years of recent incompetency and surely you can address that
