At 74 y o and receiving social security
    plus a private pension & home owner;
I am shocked by the Biden inflation &
    grocery costs escaping critical review.

    What would I do?
    1) Limit exports
especially beef, lamb, pork, chicken, etc.
    2) Stop allowing foreigners to buy up
the means of American food production.
    3) Arrange greater savings for smaller operations

And remember food production is a means of
    national defense.

Across an immense, unguarded, ethereal border, Canadians, cool and unsympathetic,
regard our America with envious eyes and slowly and surely draw their plans against us.

The high prices, high borrowing costs, increased credit card interest are all supposed to suppress demand by leaving us unable to spend, and this $1.7T final red ink orgy by this Congress is that much MORE hot money that the Fed will need to bleed of by crushing the ability of the poor, working and middle class's ability to survive.

They truly are rotten evil self-serving looting bastards, both Houses of Congress and Grandpa Felony Fingers.

    Inflation is a shock.

Biden/Dems are paying workers not to work, so they are getting hot money, not balanced off by the production of an equivalent amount of goods and services.

Their hot money competes against our earned money and bids up prices.

In many states, welfare and benefits pay more than median income

We found the missing workers, they are on the government dole.

'The American labor force is still “missing” more than three million workers who were employed before COVID struck and could be working today. This group slants strongly toward young males, deflating the idea that a lot of older people who lost their jobs during the shutdowns simply decided to retire early. The labor force participation rate remains 1.3% lower than before the pandemic began and there are roughly six million jobs still unfilled across the country. So where are all of these people and why haven’t they gone out to take new jobs? Fox Business reports this week that one reason may be found in the lucrative benefits from a combination of extended unemployment payments and Obamacare subsidies that dole out enough cash for many people to get by while simply staying home.'

'In 14 states, unemployment benefits and ACA subsidies for a family of four with two people not working amounts to an annualized equivalent of $80,000 a year in wages and benefits'

'In three states, Washington, Massachusetts, and New Jersey, those benefits add up to more than $100K per year.'

The median household income in those states:
    • 'In Washington, it’s 82K.
    • In both New Jersey and Massachusetts, it’s 89K.
    • In more rural states like Arkansas, the combined benefits may be “only” 80K, but the median household income there is 52K.'
