Is it just me, or is there an abundance of aloofness being strewn about concerning the net gains of a Nuclear exchange? Is there an idea that any type of exchange, "Limited" (LOL) or not, that any real type of survival plan exists, that wouldn't mirror zombie type drama series plot lines? Maybe it's just me.
Specifically yeah, that's what prompted my posting. Thing is, observing this trend over roughly the last 20 years or so, surely after things got all warm & fuzzy when the USSR dissolved..... Then not so warm, but chilling to the bone with terrorist activity, unstable nations claiming their places @ the Nuclear Holocaust Buffet table..... The underlying idea seems to have emerged that a "Winner" can be declared or that restraint will be shown, regarding nuclear fireworks starting.
At the peak of the cold war, the Soviet had 10,000 nuclear warheads. NK might manage to launch one before they are eliminated from the face of the earth. Beyond that, the ABL [Air-borne LASER defense system] went dark about five years ago. I strongly suspect this is why NKs missiles keep falling into the ocean after a short distance. What worries me are people who don't understand what a full nuclear war would mean - people like Trump who asked why we don't use nukes. I'm not sure if that is more sickening or shocking. Idiot.
Even one launch seems to have had its horrific ramifications For the globe in general, smoothed over is my point.
