Not when you get 30% of your gas from them. That is when it is called stupid. France needs to stand up unless they want to become a colony of Washington and be the UK's ugly step sister.

France did the right thing. Their allies are germany, UK, France, italy and the entire EU and not the russian baboons.

I dont know? Does it matter if they care? In the end their opinion is totally irrelevant.

As for your picture, our cheap labour country and its small (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) russia, so what? One is openly gay and walks around half naked and the other one is too dumb to wear trousers properly.

Great news for the Russian. Given that France gave Russia all the technology on "Mistral". Russia will receive compensation from 3 to 10 billion dollars. Hollande Bravo! Very good news for the Russian.

Russian have a lot of weapons. Russian sell it themselves. The deal with the French to buy "Mistral" is not supported by many in Russia. Taking into account the fact that the French will pay a heavy penalty - Russian fortunate in that the French president idiot.

In the Internet there are excerpts from the contract. The French will pay. This is not discussed. And sanctions against penalties are irrelevant. But there is bad news for the Russian - moron French President Hollande began to dodge and argue that the deal has not been canceled. Decision will be made in October. (just seen in the news) If a moron-Hollande did not terminate the contract, Russian will have to take "Mistral"

The EU pays nothing to Russia. Contracts are written on paper and paper is worthless

Markus this is from the very knowledgeable and informative Moon of Alabama. It should interest you::oldman:

"...To the delight of U.S. hardliners France has "postponed" the delivery of the two helicopter carrier of the Mistral type to Russia. The Russians will be happy about that. Such carriers are useful in small conflicts against minor enemies but Russia has now again to prepare for larger ones. The deal (once given to Sarkozy for his help in the 2008 Georgia conflict) included several ships some of them to be build in Russia. As part of the deal a shipyard in Russia has been modernized for the project and that important work has been finished. Russia can now (again) build such ships on its own.

If the two ships from France get not finally delivered Russia will demand back some €600 million already paid and a €1.2 billion contractual penalty. Without the Russia deal France may also have to close its shipyard in Saint-Nazaire. To hold back the ships is a terrible deal for France but president Hollande's poll rating is already so bad that the further drop in the polls for kissing Obama's ass will likely be irrelevant.
    .."

They were probably going to pay for the tanks from the IMF money which was forwarded when Poroshenko thought he was winning the war. He was preparing for an invasion of Crimea which all ended abruptly when the Ukrainian boys and girls who were being trained in Russia returned to join the newly formed Nuvorussiya army. Poroshenko and his General had decided to let the seven thousand Ukrainians trapped in the cauldrons die rather than surrender their arms, even though Putin asked the militia to make a humanitarian path for them to escape. Fortunately most of the Commanders took it upon themselves to save their men and did surrender.

Because these men are going back home and telling everyone of Poroshenko's treachery, he decided to have special soldiers whose job it will be to kill anyone who surrenders or deserts. It seems like it's going to be a Syria situation where Washington supports foreign terrorists to fight the native Syrians. In Ukraine the support will be going to foreign mercenaries so they can fight the Ukrainian people.

    Lots of ethics there.:disbelief:
