In your shoebox of a world you seem to occupy TV is probably the only way to recieve information about the world. Others like myself may take advantage of newspapers, radio, magazine subcriptions, books, other people, and even the biggest one, the internet. I do not need TV to tell me. Why is this such an issue for you?

Do you know how many things you have ignored? Lots. I have pointed out the stupidy of the post in question, there is much more gun control being promoted today than the promotion of gun ownership. I have very widespread and diverse sources. Corporations are not brainwashing people fromchildhood and making kids think that the only way to become an adult is to have a big ''killing machine''. I will consider what you have said, however I do not think murders are reported on the news because corporations want people to buy guns, is this what you are saying? The world is a dangerous one, even before the advent of firearms. Unfortunate events were always something which gained a great deal of attention.
