as Prince once, so famously coined.... I'm gonna party like it's 1999, when our qb was like 2 or something... lol even Famous Jameis can see it. And the Hei5man is even in his squinty sight. now, lets just not slip up between now and then. My other question is... does 1 loss #5 Stanford now jump #4 undefeated Ohio State (since they just beat #3)? what about #6 Baylor? Do they jump Ohio state, too, after Baylor destroyed #10 Oklahoma? If Bama wins this weekend, and FSU wins, and Ohio State wins.... I see the BCS on Sunday like this 1. Bama 2. FSU 3. Stanford 4. Baylor (by the slimmest of margins over...) 5. Ohio State 6. Oregon Bama has LSU and then Auburn, both teams can possibly beat Bama.... FSU has Wake, Syracuse, Idaho vandalls... and a struggling Florida. Then the ACC championships against Miami again, a team we just beat 41-14
you have to put Mizzou ahead of Oregon. It will all come down to the final week and how everything shakes out. If Clemson defeats SC, then Clemson looks better than Mizzou. If SC beats Clemson then an OT loss to SC doesn't hurt Mizzou as much. But, Mizzou ends up as a 2 loss team anyway thanks to the SEC championship game loss. Now that Tressel and Paterno are out of the Big 10 that conference is now seen for how weak it really is. Those 2 were able to hype the conference, and had pull/clout and thus why OSU (Big 10) got 2 failed attempts at the championship when there were more deserving teams from other conferences. OSU is a good team, and Meyer is a good coach. But, they have not earned a championship berth due to their opponents. And why won't "famous" wear sports glasses? What's up with that?
according to his tweets, he's not blind. He just squints from habit. I do too, but my squinting comes from adult beverages.... lol I don't think any FSU fans care or not.... if he is blind as a bat, it certainly hasn't hurt his Hei5man chances.... Mizzou.... I'm not super impressed by them...They're good, just not elite yet... their "big wins" came against teams devastated by injuries (GA, UF) but then lost to Carolina (because they weren't hurt) They still make the SEC championships (unless they implode and lose again, where SC would then take the spot) but the SEC is weak, too. Bama is the ONLY elite team they have. After that.... they have some decent teams... but so does the Pac-10, the ACC and the Big 12. like I tell all my SEC mark fan friends..... "funny, when sportscenter covers an ACC matchup.... it involves 2 undefeated, top 10 teams. whenever they cover SEC games, it involves a team with 2 losses" now.... it may not happen this way, but Clemson and Miami have a chance of their only loss being to FSU. (Miami may get 2 losses from FSU, hopefully) That screams tougher conference more than a conference that canabalizes itself.
I absolutely agree that survival within the SEC is difficult. Players are going to get hurt. I do not view Oregon as an elite team. They are a good team, just not elite. This year, there are 2 teams which deserve that moniker and that's FSU and Bama. An elite team can hurt you on the ground as well as in the air. An elite team can play pound and ground, slow tempo offense and move the ball, as well as play up tempo, high flying offense. FSU displayed the ability to stop an up tempo team in Clemson while Bama did not with A+M. But, Saban learned from it and made the needed changes. The LSU game will be a very good test for them on Saturday. When you look at it that way, Oregon does not make the grade. Stanford showed what happens when you pound Oregon and move the ball.
Bama continues to hang it's hat on the Texas A+M win. the aggies aren't good. take away Manziel and evans, they have nothing on offense. and their defense is horrendous. LSU being a "test" of any kind for bama will just show that they are not elite either, IMO. I don't think LSU will hang though.
Looks like Free Shoes U has bigger problems.....The Heisman is out for Famieous Jamies and he may be in jail going forward......maybe change the school name to Forced Sex U.....
lol.... TPD is part of the problem apparently. We still will get to the title game, with or without #fameousRapist If we play Bama, I would have preferred Jameis starting... but our 3rd stringer isn't bad at all. One position we are blessed at is QB. (our 2nd string qb had surgery and is out) I think our team will beat Ohio state, or Baylor with or without Jameis. Bama..... I'd be nervous but I still think we could win. at this point... not knowing his Jan 8 status, you have to give the backup qb as much playing time as possible. in the scrimmage game this weekend, Florida and yes, even the ACC championships. - - - Updated - - - "It's not rape if I can't see her say no..."
