“Other than getting you angry, it’s also very disillusioning,” Raffensperger said of the threats, “particularly when it comes from people on my side of the aisle. Everyone that is working on this needs to elevate their speech. We need to be thoughtful and careful about what we say.” He said he reported the threats to state authorities.

I'm surprised he hasn't learnt yet that Trump and elevated speech are contradictions in terms. I think all of this election fraud fabrication is going to increasingly expose what a corrupt and desperate (wannabe) regime it is that the US is escaping from

 

Indeed, and Republican appointed judges, in one case a judge appointed by trump, have laughed his lawsuits out of court.

 

This should be election fraud. If a political representative ask them to change the votes it should be a federal investigation with legal consequences.

2600, of which only 800 were Trump votes? 1800 were Biden, yeah, sure that was the dems???? those not being counted benefited the right.... not the left - sounds more like someone missed them to me as both parties votes in there - still doesn't change the outcome, recounts rarely do with the kinda lead Biden has

No evidence that anyone did anything intentional. No effort to “steal” the election. A genuine mistake that has now been corrected.

Another 800 votes to trump. That barely makes a dent in the 14,000 margin.

 

No need, a number of members from the GA House and Senate have been giving interviews expressing the demand to have the law followed. Oh but see now you're confused because the article says they were looking for ways to have ballots excluded. Yea, well that clever wordplay aside technically a ballot that doesn't meet the criteria prescribed by the Georgia legislature should be excluded as the US Constitution specifically empowers that body to define the scope of its elections.

 

Apparently we need to take election management away from politicians. This is beyond sorry.

 

Yeah, the Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee calls up a local election offficial in another state and all but asks him to rig an election for the GOP.

After all, the GOP Governor of Georgia only beat Stacy Abrams because he was in charge of the election. Same with Bush in Florida in 2000. The GOP ran the election, and ran a caging operation that took over 100,000 people off the rolls, without their knowledge, and frequently for bogus reasons.

As I have said all along, trump lovers would install a dictator in about 30 seconds if given the chance.

 

Only if that dictator promised more guns, fewer immigrants and fewer abortions. Everything else (including the constitution) is negotiable for the right.

I agree, Barr's behavior has not looked good.

 

As much as I hate what Trump has done to the GOP in general, it is nice to see there are Republicans that still have some baseline integrity and don't automatically fold to the bully in the white house or his sycophants.

 

Guns are already covered in the constitution. It is the left that works to erode these rights. Also, you forgot to add the word "illegal" to immigrants.

BTW, I grew up in LA where gangs strengthen their numbers through illegal immigration and rule their neighborhoods with an iron fist using guns regular citizens are not allowed to carry.
