    Cenk definitely needs to be called out on that BS.

    My point was that our country won't recognize it as a genocide, so getting excited about the Young Turks AND not calling Trump out at the same time, is a tad hypocritical. One is a Youtuber. The other is the President.

    I stopped watching YT, but yeah, the genocide was a genocide. Our government should acknowledge that. I understand why they don't, but that doesn't make it right.

    My point was, how on Earth can you call out some Youtuber while ignoring Trump's refusal to call what happened a genocide? Is your cognitive dissonance that extreme?

    Here is a fact for you: no matter what a Democrat does or says, you'll find a way to gripe about it to the point of making that Democrat out to be a villain. The chance of any Democrat doing or saying anything you will approve is about equal to the chance of Trump only telling the truth from this point onward.

    Which ones? they still oppose a woman's right to abort. They still oppose affirmative action. they still oppose legalizing pot. They still oppose same sex marriage rights. they still support prayer in schools. They still support a broader use of capital punishment. There has been movement on gay rights and the percentage of Republicans who are willing to tolerate same sex marriage has grown considerably smaller, but otherwise I am not seeing the much difference.

    you're wrong on some of those. In fact Donald Trump has been the first president vet in his campaign he did not condemned same-sex. no other president has done that in the history of the United States. Republicans are moving away from the moral panic about marijuana.

    the only President we have ever had in our entire history that did not condemn same-sex marriage in his campaign or in his presidency has been Donald Trump so he is more liberal than every Democrat that has ever been elected on that subject.

    That's an absolute fact you cannot argue.

    the 'right' and Trump are not synonymous. Gay rights/ marriage is the only social issue on which there has been a major shift. I conceded that two posts ago. The refusal to condemn same sex marriage is not the same as embracing or advocating for same sex equality . Dems have been doing far more than refusing to condemn for the last seven years. They have been in a new dimension that Trump has not by embracing and advocating for marriage equality. Trump is busy undercutting that success every time he nominates a new judge to the federal bench.

    Stubborn silence and utter indifference just isn't good enough anymore.
